I just got back from a camping trip with my parents. My dad used to be a gamer, works in IT, and did 3D modeling as a hobby for a bit. He’s not unfamiliar with the idea of using avatars, so I briefly mentioned the recent VTuber trend and how I was thinking about being one myself (though doing a very different style of content from most). I then handed him my phone and let him mess around with IFacialMoCap for a few minutes.

He said “neat”, handed my phone back to me, and then my mom and I discussed how weird simps are for the next hour.
