It's not even a cope, streamers at the top agree (including top female streamers) that women have a lot better time growing, most just tend to hit a cap lower than men do and most have to get there appealing primarily to men. Obviously there's niches within streaming where women do better (asmr both lewd and SFW, hot tub shit, and vtubing) but overall the top entertainers in streaming are male.

I think they get worked up because it's not just an easier start, but just an easier ride in general if we're talking about just Vtubing. Even with normal streaming though I think if I were a serious creator and not a hobbyist 2view I'd be pretty upset that "Cute Asian Girl 321" making breakfast can get more viewers than any half-decent content I pour effort into, even if I didn't have bad viewership.

I understand the jealousy that some male chuubas have when it comes to female chuubas, but in the end it's simply the nature of the niche they chose. It'd be like male ASMRtists complaining that female ones are getting more viewers. The nature of the "genre" is geared more towards males looking for a female entertainer.

The existence of a few successful males doesn't mean that there's no underlying "issue" (not sure what else to call it) of male streamers not being as sought out as female ones. All three of them are talented people that still put in their time, but the difference between a lot of the bigger male chuubas vs the female ones is that most of the guys had to either have been successful prior whereas you've got female streamers with zero content creation experience constantly coming up out of nowhere. Even if we're not talking about having thousands of viewers, most chuubas in general have less than 2 years of content creation experience, yet somehow the female ones are the ones that are succeeding the most. It's not just a matter of content though that's of course part of it because you need decent content for people to stick around, it's a matter of what a majority people who are looking into this medium of content creation are seeking. A matter of even having a chance to show that content to someone to begin with and getting that initial click.

So this is a small sample, but of the bottom 150 streamers in the Vtuber tag but discounting people who hadn't been live for 30 minutes yet, 92 are males 45 aren't chuubas or have meme PNGs, and 13 are verifiably female. It's interesting how obvious it is to spot some of these babis, you can really tell when something is solely designed by a male with zero female input. I thought I might have some trouble with tabs, but there were so few female-avatar streamers that it was easier to just open them and confirm they're actually girls than it ever would've been with the guys.

Bodega, the job of a compressor filter is to prevent you from peaking. When your volume hits the threshold of your compressor filter it cuts down how much volume is added.

Threshold at -35db means your Compressor kicks in at -35db. Ratio of 4:1 means for every 4 decibels, the filter will only let 1 through. You scream loudly adding 32dbs, only 8 of the gets through. So instead of breaking viewer's ears by going into the red at -3db, it only adds 8db so you end up at -27db. Adjust the numbers accordingly.
