Those were always the minority. Most holobros were just "concerned" that HomoEN would steal their HomoJP viewers and wanted to see a more established fanbase.
I honestly have no idea why cover waited so long to open auditions after Myth's success and somewhat successful council they should have debuted EN homos asap. Now nipplesanji has 2 male waves and another one on its way. Safe to say they will get a good boost of viewers from luxiem/noctyx fanbase and what will HomoEN get? Nothing. They will have to start from scratch with "no chinks" debuff on top.

The first male wave's goal was to captivate the small female Vtuber audience. The second wave, and all other subsequent waves, exist only to burn fujos out of watching other male chuubas in general, Niji OR Holo. Tazumi-san not only ran away with the the entire fujo audience in the palm of his hands, but he also destroyed any chance StarsEN could have of riding their success. Why do you think NijiEN has had a Holo collab ban since Lazulight? Unironically it is better to have a chill 3view audience than a schizo giant audience. Fujos are inherently schizophrenic so you have to find a comfortable sweet spot. NijiJP's audience is mostly fine (there are some schizos in there but its a lot more chill) but NijiEN isn't worth its weight in numbers.
