Not really. Roberu's networking helped him get invited to a bunch of different streams with big names, something that doesn't really happen that often with Aruran. As much as some people here seem to hate Tamaki he was super important for Roberu's growth.

As with my other reply the Stars can't really complain about not being super popular when the majority of them don't try to put their names out there. The reason Roberu is so popular, along with being a great entertainer, is because the CONSTANT appearances in big streams. Compare it to Rikka who had 60k eyes on him on Mori’s birthday Live, Roberu’s appearances on Tamaki’s channel with 8-10k viewers is a lot more valuable because he’s been so much, some people are bound to check you out if they’re exposed to you so much. That’s why collabing with outsiders is so important, the Holostar only fan base is a small one, constantly collabing with Hololive would be a problem for both, so the only option left to grow is to collab with outsiders to get new eyes on you, then it’s up to the Stars to keep their interest.

I’m one of those people who are optimistic about StarsEN, looking at other threads I’m actually thinking Cover’s standards are TOO high, so I’m not worried about the talent scouting. With that being said, it’ll be an interesting to see if StarsEN can replicate StarsJP’s method of collabing with outsiders, because unlike JP who has VSPO, 774, Neoporte, etc. the EN vtubing sphere is pretty barren.

Some of the rest just happens to be introverted as Astel has said before.
They are just trying to have fun while creating content they enjoy and that means to every talent something else. A major part of content creation is mostly background work that people won't see like Oga working on his games or Miyabi getting his V-Log project started or Izuru writing songs and doing sound engineering for other singers which technically is networking as well. How many people are actually excited for StarsEN tho? I know it's always been like that, just saying that it solidified with Luxiem. Cover had the perfect window to at least try to get a hold onto male vtubers in the west, but I don't really blame them for not doing it because even in the west the Stars were rather unpopular (pity subs aside). Betting on a StarsEN in late 2020/early 2021 would be a pretty risky on a purely business standpoint, but in the end they lost a lot of ground to Nijisanji, and who knows if there'll still be hype left for it when they debut. It's quite possible NijiEN will have even more male members until then.

Looks like your typicial narcissistic behavior. The unfortunate thing is that it's very hard for the person to recognize and reflect on their actions since he will just get all defensive about it. He lacks the empathy to see how his actions affect others so in his mind so he doesn't see himself doing anything wrong.
You can clearly see here where he attempts to justify his actions with reasons that don't make sense:

Plus all of his friends that just enables his behavior will just make it harder for him to reflect on his actions and change his behavior.
