That's something that made me really sad when I was just starting to watch Holostars and had been watching Hololive for a bit. I always liked watching the call-in streams because other girls would drop by and you would see some unusual chats. But when I watched my first Holostars call-in (can't remember which boy it was), they were getting more call-ins from people outside Holopro (like Animare and Niji) and barely a few of the girls (namely Fubuki and Matsuri, I think maybe lofi too, since ID2 wasn't a thing) and I was so confused. Aren't they in the same company? can't even congratulate them? is what I thought.

Took me a bit to realize why and to this day I think it's such a dumb thing to put this weird wall between them.

The talents don't push or properly explain themselves to management half the time. Gura has talked about it, in regards to herself and others. Marine has talked about it, in regards to her sensual costume and why Pekora didn't get what she wanted. Yes there are issues in management but its also on the talents to do what they need to do. Astel getting to do the 3D debut was due to explaining himself to Shinove who was able to correctly convey it to the middle management better. Shinove/his team is also weirdly competent since they manage to get Atlus to kneel to permissions for Uyu, which mostly came about because Uyu properly talked to that team.
Holostars JP have mentioned their senpais (not just ID and EN but also JP) whenever appropriate, and interact a bit on twitter with very little visible backlash. Or did you forget they were part of the congrats video to Myth last year during the anime con track? Its a nonissue, especially if you don't menhara it.
Joining StarsEN is fine, at the very least there are much worse options available.

It's all down to the interests of the talents if they are willing to collab or not. If they don't want to, then please respect their decision. Otherwise don't force them to collab and let it happen naturally.

I'm going to give you a list of all the Hololive talents and tell you the chances of them collabing. Grouping them by Generations:

Gen 0 - Sora, Roboco, AZKi, and Suisei all have already either collabed or directly interacted with a Holostar on stream, so they are safe. Miko is the only one who will not collab with a Holostar or any male on the case that she wants to "preserve" the idol image.

Gen 1 - Fubuki and Matsuri have already collabed with Holostars. Aki Rose has not directly collabed with them as far as I know, but she does support them and will retweet some of their events on Twitter, so a collab can be possible. The chances of Mel collabing with them is very slim due to the incident that happened to her a few years ago. There is no chance that Haachama will be collabing with Holostars at all since she has Gachikois up the ass.

Gen 2 - The three introverts are out of the question. Choco has both directly collabed and interacted with the Holostars, and she is cool with it. Subaru to my knowledge has never collabed or interacted with the Holostars, but given her open tomboyish nature, she may have a good chance of collabing with them if the circumstances allow it.

Gamers - While they share common interests with the Holostars, chances are they are not willing to collab at all probably due to social anxiety. Mio probably has the highest chance of collabing with them...which is extremely small, so don't expect anything.

Gen 3 - ABSOLUTELY OFF LIMITS. Pekora like Miko wants to preserve the idol image as she says, and her popularity would cause way too much drama if she does interact with a male talent. Marine, Flare, and Noel all come from an all-girls school, and interacting with men would be too troublesome for Flare and Noel. Marine would probably be fine with it...but she's got Gachikois up the ass.

Gen 4 - Kanata is a pretty busy and reserved person, so she probably has no interest in collabing with the Holostars. Watame tried to interact with them early on, but she got flamed for it by her fans. I am glad that she is at least aware of them and acknowledges their success, but the chance of a collab is very slim. Towa has not directly collabed with any Holostar, but she fully supports them and is open to collabing with them. Luna...is in a weird spot. I don't think she minds collabing...but Luna is..kinda difficult to collab with...

Gen 5 - I'm personally surprised that Botan has not collabed with a Holostar yet given her skill in games, but I assume that she's not the kind to generate competition since she's veering away from it. Also, I think it was during the Battlefield casual tourney where she teamed up with a male vtuber, and her fans didn't like it, so sadly a collab with a Holostar has a very low chance. Lamy has gachikois up the ass, so not happening. Nene asked her fans if it was ok for her to converse with males. Her fans said no though. However, I do remember her tweeting about Oga and the dice game he made a while back, so the cards are not out of the table yet. Polka is the only member of Gen 5 who I know openly supports the Holostars. Polka has the best chance of collabing with a Holostar, but she'll have to work on her social anxiety first.

Gen 6 - Not happening with La+. She's a Hololive fan herself, and she says she gets upset if anyone collabs with Towa male or female. Lui...I don't know her opinion yet, but I wouldn't say the chances of collabing with a Holostar are zero. Koyori takes after Fubuki so much that I hope she can collab with them, but we can't force her to, so it'll be up to her. Not happening with Chloe. Gachikois up the ass. And Iroha I don't know too much of, but we'll see.

Holomyth - Calliope has already collabed and directly interacted with Rikka, and she compliments the efforts of the Holostars on twitter. While she does support them, my only issue with her is that she has only collabed with Rikka so far. While Kiara has asked her fans several times if they would be fine with her collabing with males (and they said yes), it's going to be a long while until she collabs with a Holostar since she feels uneasy with it. Ina would probably be fine with it, but lacks the Japanese knowledge to do so. Maybe she, Iofi, and Gamma could have a simple drawing stream together sometime. Not happening with Gura. Gachikois up the ass. Amelia could have collabed with Astel if her fans were not shipping them outright. Amelia does support them and is probably open to a collab, but her lack of Japanese is what is most likely holding her back.

Council and IRyS - I think Sana would be cool with collabing with a Holostar, but I think it would be easier for her if she was with another Hololive talent. Kronii...could...but lacks the Japanese knowledge to do so. The chances for Fauna collabing with them are slim, and even more so since she lacks Japanese as well. Mumei I'm glad is pretty open to them and won't mind collabs as long as she has an interpreter. Bae is doing what I wish Kiara did earlier: supporting, interacting, and finding more ways to collab with the Holostars. As for IRyS...she is my #1 most wanted collaborator with the Holostars. She has the JP knowledge, she has the calm and cool streaming personality, and she has the humor that can go along with them. Please Bae, bring IRyS to a Holostars collab!

Hololive Indonesia - Thanks to Iofi's efforts in developing an open relationship with the Holostars, the majority of HoloID can collab with them freely. However, there are a few members who probably will not do a collab unless it is in a large group. Moona lacks the JP knowledge and is known to be shy. Reine is also somewhat shy and probably lacks interest to do so, and she doesn't have any direct connections with any of them unlike Moona where Shien and Oga paid a visit to her last birthday. Gen 3's Zeta and Kobo converse with the Holostars occasionally on twitter, so a collab with the Holostars is likely. I have not seen Kaela tweet about them though, although I think she would be cool with them should a collab happen. What I noticed with Gen 3 though is that they are the weakest in Indonesia in terms of JP speaking, so that might be a hindrance.

Cover keeps a distinction between staff and talents. You are either one or the other. That said we know calli will write lyrics if asked, so there’s most likely no rule about doing staff like things or using connections.

Grinding streams are pretty much easy chatting streams which Uyu specializes in so he'll do well if it comes to that. But, Persona 4 Golden is not that grindy to begin with. There's maybe a few spots where you actually want to grind the dungeon, but otherwise just going straight through is fine on normal mode.

Social links are also very easy content and Persona characters are popular in general.
