She's testing hee limits and boundaries now. IRL and with her fans. That Lamy video was pretty much taken entirely out of context, it's her own personal project so she has to pay for production costs with the company handling the logistics portion of it. If it's the company's project they're the ones who take the financial risk. Kiara's Hinotori was also a personal project as she contacted and set up everything involved herself. Agencies are known to have a setup that talent-driven merch are paid by the talents while company-driven merch are paid by the company. Botan and Ame both released merch very soon after their debuts for their character birthdays, they couldn't have afforded the production costs of that out of pocket. And what about the early days where they were barely making anything and Aqua was the #1 SC'd talent? They still had merch then. My personal theory is that the company covers any 'expected' merch like anniversary or birthday events or big events like Bloom while any personal projects are covered by the talents.
And I do believe it would be beneficial for her to join Hololive down the line, whether as Aloe or a new identity, if she wants to advance her career. If she's content to stay where she is, with being a small musician with a loyal fanbase, that's fine too, a lot of people are satisfied with that.

Cover would never allow it and she would never allow it. Both groups know in a situation where she returns the easiest thing would be to return as Aloe while allowing her to continue working on the side as Delta. I think back in October when she claimed she would only go on as Delta she first of all had JUST started to receive fanbox support and was still EXTREMELY unstable.
