Hololive was just big enough to explode when pandemic happened which was lucky for them.

I have clicked upon the twitch link of coqui_monster, who is apparently the sub-leader of the South Side Skinks, a two-member female only gang. I also see mentions of a "locale" arcade owned by Krimbo in the desc. The lore is fun, I enjoyed it.

Her name is Coqui, her live2d is quite sharp and expressive compared to the majority. The voice-acting of the character is quite interesting and thorough with a low end cute roastie twang. I have no complaints about her design, and the character itself. But it reminds me of the overly try-hard attempts of western artists to seem wild drawing from punk influences mixed with anime in prior eras to bring it full circle to cute. But this isn't a necessarily her problem, as we gaze upon what appears to be the second coming of deviantart sonic the hedgehog original characters in the form of streamers.

The game she is playing I do not know much about, but it seems interesting although it is not the type of game that I can gleam her genetic/latent deficiencies from, but she is managing to crunch knowledge at a decent to faster than normal pace with what is given.

Thusly, in my opinion I need to come back to Coqui another day to fully understand whether or not I like it. So I will be back to her stream in the future.

Upon opening the twitch stream the_stay_at_home_ghost my shit froze after the amazon mandated ad. But luckily it solved itself.

The description holds no lore, so I cannot even as a passerby gleam what his name is, or what he is all about.
He is in 3d, its not a bad model, it appears to me a pleb that his setup is tracking him from a lower angle instead of a neutral one.
The voice acting feels non-existent and yet it works for him, as he is speaking very clear and concise with stops to further push what appears to be a tone which is a rarity in the vtubing world.

Ironically, this streamer made me smile a bit because I could feel desperation, but as I continued to watch he started playing with his character lore, something I know nothing about, with the stops in conjunction with the tone the music is providing it made for a awkward experience.

Except in this world of experiences, it is better to have a awkward experience than a boring experience.

I will not stay around to watch subnautica as that is a slower paced relaxing game (to me personally).

But I enjoyed him, I will be back in the future to judge how good his actual content is.

In this world of people using twitch in an effort to ease the burden of rising as a entertainer, by leeching off each other; we have a proclaimed CORPSE on youtube. So kudos to them for taking the difficult path of a lone warrior.

Upon clicking on it and watching her, I expected the corpse to move due to being advertised as a vtuber; but it did not. So I reviewed prior videos and discovered that the gimmick was that it is literally a female's corpse that communicates to me the viewer in text at the bottom.

To be fair, it is a interesting gimmick, thanks to it being on youtube I can quickly gleam what they are all about despite the notable deficiencies in keeping me there with my ADHD riddled brain.

They play a mix of things, primarily RPGs, and RPG-shooters with some metroidvanias thrown in. So they are into crunching numbers/standard /v/ core games with some /jp/ suggestions, but when we look at the list they aren't autistic enough to delve into statistics based games (Most people aren't). Their ability to play games is of a average-good level compared to the casual male gamer. The reactions there can be seen on occasion.

So all in all, with them only the content itself speaks obviously because the corpse won't.
So I MAY tune in depending on what is being played.

I only truly appreciate those who are better than me regarding gameplay content, or those who make an effort to try at them instead of just play them casually just because it is what is expected for a streamer. She is quite animated, and there is nothing wrong with that. But I feel the stream itself isn't something I can judge her upon.

I watched Ellanora for five musedash songs, she is a fruit bat queen who is living in a cave. The bat upon her head is named Mr. Butler. So the lore is there, albeit not anything new/out there conceptually.
Her visual appeal isn't bad, she is animated and the mouth works properly. The color of her hair is very soft along with other areas, which means she blends (a bad thing to me, I don't know how to describe it)
She is playing Muse Dash, which thanks to prior events mean she doesn't particularly care about taking a stance on China being a westerner.
The voice is okay, you can hear her try to voice act partly due to the endings of her words, but its nothing new.
The gameplay at least shows she has a notable amount of experience with rhythm games, so her gameplay content can be good.

All in all though, I personally find her boring so I won't be watching her again. But... I will say, she might be something for other people because she is not objectively bad.

I think there is such a thing, but like with anything that gets memed, it quickly becomes applied in an over-broad way by people who just want another epithet to throw at people they don't like. Well upon clicking the twitch channel meatscave I go down to the description, and it says she is setting up. So I googled it and got the following results, after the twitter I clicked on the horseman vtuber but that is unrelated.
Its a cavewoman named meat or some shit probably.

The design is okay, her colors don't blend and it has a outline which is ironically a super plus from me, it is a interesting one that has its own sort of quality.

The voice has no tinge of roastie normally outside of the fringe case of when she lowers her voice too much and it hits the lowest part. So there is no genuine roastie voice present.

I wanted to say she had a tone to her stream, but she broke it, so clearly the game she is playing unironically has a lot of artistic quality to it to the point it might have provided tone for her.
After that, I have nothing particularly bad to say about her the game content isn't bad, but the game is actually good for what it is.

All in all, I may visit her in the future, since there isn't anything conclusive going on.

There is no way to recover from a several month hiatus as a streamer and nothing saddens me more. I really like ASS, and her position is understandable, but to put it in perspective, the time she's taking off if less than the time she's been actively discussed here. In the mean time, many people who are watching for nearly daily content are going to move on. Sure she'll have a small comunity here that still supports her, but in a market of a thousand competitors for various circles, the viewers that didn't visit her from /here/ or one of her close friends is actually kind of limited.
Do you think she can make it? I really want ASS to succeed, but fuck, this is a bad proposition. I'll be watching for when she returns, and shill it as hard as I can when she does, but I have a feeling a large portion of her fans won't come back after this and it feels bad.
