Can an outsider ask a genuine question here? What exactly does Kiara like about Mori? Being "cool"?
They just seem so different to me, like what do they even have in common.

Original Takamori was pumped so high because Kiara, who went to Japan for other reasons on a 1 year visa in March of 2020 got locked in her home leading her to depression knowing her 1 year visa was being squandered on Covid. She already watched a little bit of Hololive but it ramped up insanely during her shut in period where she developed Pekora as her Oshi.
After applying and getting in, both her and Mori were in Japan and assuming they were relatively close, it was a really good bonding experience for her. She got a little too attached and they wrote the ship into the characters basing it off of a few of their 'senpai's' teetee lesbian interactions. Kiara is 100% the kind of person who wants to fit in with Japanese humor/style so it makes sense that she would curb it on that. With Kiara in a fragile state and no one else to really connect with, she leaned on Mori hard as fuck for the first 6ish months, during the predebut and all the way until she left.
It ended up bombing once Kiara left Japan and got settled in in Austria reconnecting with old friends. On top of the fact that Mori kinda kept pretty distant to the point where Kiara talked a bit about how lonely she felt on stream and cried about it. Once she got over it though, the ship was dropped to the point of Kiara saying 'she felt boxed in by fans when it came to interacting with other girls'. A lot of the time when Mori would interact with other coworkers, people would love it, but fans would ask Kiara 'WHAT ABOUT CALLI!' every time she tried and she got tired of it.

There honestly wasn't enough content for there to be any negative blow up. Day 1 was a lot of image spam, day 2 was about as fast as here or morig on a more active day. Both takamori and dramafags didn't really have much to work with. As someone who wasn't her for prime takamori, they just seemed to get on about as well as Kiara gets on with any holo. Not much more or less.

Generally, for me the standout favorite vocal performances of Kiara's songs that I like the best are either the higher-than-normal pitched tunes, or songs where she uses her even rarer lower-than-normal voice range. You know I'm getting pretty annoyed now that even normalfags are throwing around the "Kiara looked everywhere and said it costs six figures to get a studio in Europe". It is a infuriating experience she is having, but everyone is missing important parts of the timeline. Basically when she first started searching 3 months in advance everything was booked. Then she got some new leads, when she thought it wasn't happening. Then out of those leads, 1-2 months in advance everything cost six figures. Presumably if she started searching for a studio every earlier then when she first did (though we know the reasons she didn't start earlier) she would have gotten a studio for normal rate that was available. It isn't impossible period or crazy expensive to get a studio in Europe under normal circumstances when you book far in advance.
