Depends on your definition of "make it", but that's basically true. You're not going to pull huge numbers if you follow the model that female EN indies follow (ie twitch and twitter). Men are going to have to get creative and take a lot more from the traditional streamer market. There was that schizo ranting a few days ago about how female vtubing exists in its own streaming sphere and males are in the traditional streaming market, and while I disagree with his black and white view of it, he had some points. Vtuber fans just don't care that much about male vtubers.
