The general rule of thumb is Twitch if your content is primarily based on livestreaming and YouTube if your content is primarily pre-recorded and edited.

>Do you think there's an audience for X, Y, Z content?
First, ask yourself if you would watch a streamer of your skill and experience. Second, do a check on social media and look to see if other streamers are already creating similar content. Don't limit yourself to vtubers, include traditional real life streamers to scope out a potential audience.

also, do you guys have tips on how to spot and avoid grooming by viewers early on? as in where to draw the line when interacting? i want to be a little vulnerable with everyone, with what i suppose can be considered gentle gfe. but i also am a tad autistic and worry i'll end up with actual psychos for fans who will try to track me down to consummate our marriage in 3D

shilling yourself on /vt/ wouldnt give you massive growth or anything but at least it'll get you over the affiliate hurdle and help you stand out amongst the literal 0-2 views and after that it's up to your own power and capabilities in order to carry yourself upwards. There's basically no disadvantages or problems for anyone in the past who shilled themselves starting out and you can basically argue that the connection and support network from being associated with /vt/ is extremely powerful these days as there are even other successful vtubers that have no clue about 4chan being dragged into this network without knowing.

As for grooming, just dont reveal your personal details and dont be on 1:1 situations with others.

I think /asp/ is great for the core formation of the chuuba. Most never go beyond this core formation, but it is here where you can fuck up freely and try different things with less of a permanent repercussion on your brand. I would post in /wvt/ once you have your basic personal form on point after a month or two of streaming minimum imo.

Ive been playing it about 2 days a week. I honestly do like go, but it can be very stressful. I used to seriously study go almost a decade ago and it became an source of extreme stress in my life back when I was actually trying to get good at the game. This is more or less what caused me to quit go for many years.
I think what I need to see go as is just something to do for fun and not worry too much about being good or anything. Just use it as a tool to provide entertaining streams to those who like go. Kind of act like a friendly bartender to the go crowd, not necessarily there to show high levels of skill or even as somebody who you watch so you can see his journey as he grows his skill up from a low level. Just somebody fun to talk to for a while with a backdrop of go going on. Maybe I can create enough of a parasocial relationship with this crowd that I can move some percentage of them over to watching certain other types of games or zatsu streams.
