that being said, it is very context dependent. but generally, the fact of the matter is you need to excel as an indie in this oversaturated industry, at least THREE of the following are necessary:

>good voice
>entertaining personality
>good model
>interacts with chat A LOT

without that, you havent got a prayer. there are some who will stay for the model and voice, but if your personality becomes too intolerable you might get harassed on SNS (see: saruei)

furthermore, if you do nothing but stream apex or genshit it will be difficult to sustain numbers. personally i loathe these games and i have dropped several chuuba because its literally all they would play and they didnt interact with chat enough or at all to justify me actually showing up.
