Seeing as it might be a while until they're added anyway as playable characters, I think HoloX would work well as boss battles in this game. Their entire thing is that they're supposed to be a supervillain organisation, so you can easily have them be a lore wise cause for the corrupting virus as a means to give Lui a personal army to take over the world.
