Its when you buy/sell money gets taken/added from your balance but the coin stays in your inventory until the broken processes it so its double counting. You'll notice if you buy a bunch of coins your networth will go down by a lot on your profile but it'll go back to normal once you get your coins

Hi everyone, this is just an announcement that we have some updates ready to roll out this coming Saturday (exact time TBA). We've been reading everyone's feedback and are working on a new economy system that we hope will be much more enjoyable. We've learned the importance of being transparent with our players and not springing completely new mechanics on them without any prior information on how the game will work. We want to make the game fun, intuitive, and fair. Currently, this new system includes real time price updates and transactions (no more broker queue, you pay/ get what you see), shorter cooldown, an improved data scraper for statistics, and a new daily adjustment system. Until we're ready to release that, please enjoy the new features coming this weekend:
1. Oshiboard - an addition to the leaderboard showing the "Board of Directors" for each holo, the top 5 users who hold the most of that holo's coins

I don't think so, unless she suddenly stops trending downwards. She's been consistently losing value every day and the only reason she hasn't fallen even lower is because for some reason retards are buying and pumping her value. They will eventually run out of money though and then the coin will really enter freefall. I expect it to be under $1000 by Saturday. Again though I wouldn't personally buy it for more than $100.

I think what I hate most about this new economy is that buying the dips is no longer a thing. Coin value drops slowly, so selling peaks is still possible, but value goes up insanely fast.
If Coin A goes up $500 and Coin B goes down $500, Coin A will drop maybe $150 in one cycle but Coin B will go up $500 in a single cycle so you can only ever get maybe 1 coin out of a dip.

On a more serious note, multicoin is probably not going to be a thing once we set up the real time economy. We'll be turning down the timeouts for coins by a decent chunk which should enable people to buy/sell much faster than before. They'll still be in place though so we don't get autists with bots doing HF trading, at least to that level.
Regarding the real time economy, we think might be technically feasible now that we've taken a more serious look at it, but at the same time it might get fucked. Primary issue is reliable price numbers when there's extremely high volumes of transactions. Regardless of if our server can handle it, which isn't certain, people with slower connections to the servers will likely see slower updates to the prices and when they click, just the lag from their connection might bog them. While this is real market behavior, we do want to also make sure people can have fun, no matter where they live.
Regarding buying the adjustment dips, the issue there is probably people selling off during the day and reducing their volumes, which means more aggressive price changes. The top coins for a day going down slowly is also due to that, partially at least, since they usually have a ton of volume behind them. Honestly, apart from unplugging coin behavior from volume entirely, I can't say I know a fix. We could try turning down volatility even further. Also, I assure you guys the adjustment system is not based on RNG. Again, I can't tell you the exact equation but it is actually based on an equation.

Just have it keep track of how many of a coin they held during their last dividend payment. If they ever go below that number during the week than it resets the interest immediately. New coins' interest isn't calculated until the next week's dividend so it only has to update once a week.
This is imperfect and would heavily discourage selling oshicoins at all, but it's probably the least resource intensive way to do it?

Bonds when? They'd give something like a 5-10% higher return than a Dividend, but they have to be purchased Saturday (before Sunday's daily adjustment) and cannot be sold the entire week, being automatically paid out the next Saturday at/around Dividend time at which time you can either sell them (and free up the capital) or hold them for next week.
Essentially super dividends, but your money is locked into them whereas with a regular stock you can sell it to free up money for a play like Risu.
I'm not sure how I'd determine Bond value though, I feel like I'd sell them at a fixed price independent of how many people buy/sell them based off dividend performance. If dividends are high, bonds are high. If dividends are low, bonds are low. And maybe have bonds mature, so they start out at 5% more than weekly dividends but each week you hold them they pay out more and more until they cap out.
