Alright, so I’ve been playing way too much Shin Megami Tensei and the idea of writing SMT but with chuubas just popped into my head while I was at work and it doesn’t seem like it’s about to leave my mind anytime soon.

I was thinking maybe make you guys decide the protagonist’s fate at some parts of the story and make the ending based on his choices, kinda like how the games have a Chaos, Law or Neutral ending depending on your choices, but maybe that’s a bit overkill.

Honestly for Persona would more fit a fic about chuubas then a chuuba fanfic since the more 'realistic/emotional' side kind of demands somethin akin to (pseudo/fake) chuuba roommate uses vtuber as their persona, with a storyline centered around that double life persona.

As mentioned by other anons, using SMT as the base for your worldbuilding lets you craft a relatively simpler story, with overarching plot being "which faction will rule over the world" and "punching deities in the face".
While I enjoy Persona as a narrative/character driven story, I feel that it doesn't align with your current goal as Persona, at its core is meant to be a story about personal(lol) growth. Yeah you can put in a huge whacky arc of defying fate, but to relate it back to how the chuubas develop as individuals would not be the easiest task.
SMT is about external growth, where the character is more often than not a representation of their alignment or philosophy and generally wish to exert their goals upon others, whereas Persona is internal growth, where they try to figure out who they truly are and for the most part, keep their beliefs to themselves.
If I may, I would suggest for you to use the world of SMT 1 as a good base, since it's a fairly simple yet effective plot which you can then insert more and more outlandish plotlines.

I actually also wanted to write an SMT chuuba fic but it's currently in my WIP pile of shame.

I don’t really see that big of a difference between your definition of an idea and concept, but I personally build my stories around a single scene I find interesting more than anything.
These are some examples of random ideas I’ve built stories around:

>Lying beneath Subaru in some sort of field and kissing her

Once I’m interested in an idea I start asking questions. Why has this event happened? What’s the setting? How can you create a story to get to this scene/where can you take the story after this scene?
From there I let the story grow and add more ideas as the questions pile up. As for whether this is effective in creating a good plot or not, I wouldn’t objectively know.

Absolutely, the Mel one especially. It started out as Mel sex, then I introduced the idea for a world filled with creatures like vampires such as werewolves, fairies, demons and stuff, with (You) going around trying to fuck them. After that I imagined an organisation of humans that hunt down these creatures, then a secret that this organisation is keeping from you. Then came two more perspectives (the deuteragonist and tritagonist) on the story aside from (You), each with their own plot and backstory. Obviously that’s a really abridged version of my thought process, but starting with the simple scene of Mel biting down on my neck while I grab her fat tits, I’ve laid out what will probably be my biggest writing project.

So, I'm about to wrap up the final draft of a writing thing I've been working on for about five years. Ages ago, for my friend's birthday I made him a short little Renpy thing with assets I got off Booru and just really haphazardly made the backgrounds transparent. If I say so myself, it was pretty funny for a cringe friendservice game that I wouldn't ever wanna see the light of day.
All that said, one of the funny things that comes with writing an entire damn book is about halfway through writing it you get this horrible craving to do any other form of creative work at all besides the thing that's consuming your life and destroying your sleep. I actually don't have an incredible amount of interest in writing holofanfiction, but I do have an interest in someone at all ever seeing some renpy thing I made because it feels like a shame for it all to go to waste. I'd like to salvage what not cringe jokes I can from my thing.
Anyway. I'm almost certain I'll end up doing this. Looking through the prompts, the one where you're an assistant solving a mystery with Amelia looks pretty funny. I was thinking of using that as a base, and playing around with what I could do from there. Maybe having five "routes" where five different Hologirls get a route. Would probably depend on who I personally like/who has the most visual novel sprite looking assets for me to use.
Any interest in this? Any girls anons would personally like to see? Any prompts they'd like to see incorporated? Like I said, I'm still wrapping up my own project, and after that I'll be traveling for a week or so, but theoretically after that I'll be free to blow my creative load on this.
Also, how would you guys feel about extremely nsfw, somewhat cancellable jokes? (such as ones involving the word nigger). The original thing I made for my friend has a few of those that are pretty funny, but just because of fear of somehow being doxed with this -- I mean, I hope my book becomes a bestseller you know -- I'm a little wary of keeping those in. It's time to start investing in writing tech, writinganon. And by that I mean techniques. It doesn't matter which ones you pick up, but you should always be forward-looking. On phone so will be a bit terse.
>I have an outline but can't write a word
First figure out if you're suffering from a. Insufficient direction or b. insecurity in your writing. If it's the first, more granular outlining can help if you work well with outlines. If it's the second, figure out why. Do you normally face this kind of writers block? Do you feel that you're getting too stuck in your normal writing ruts and feel insecure about seeing them on the page? Do you have an inartful version of what you want to write in your head and it's blocking you from writing what you want?
Some suggested troubleshoots.
1. Try the magic of pomodorros.
Start with a fifteen minute writing session and set a low word count. Write it, put it away for at least two hours and come back and see how you feel about it. This will let you gauge if youre being overly insecure.
2. Write a vignette in the middle of the story that you like and are confident in. This will let you know if you just find certain scenes in your story a slog to get through
3. Use chunk outlining, where you outline by pghs separated into beats. This will allow you to get further into the process still using left brain.

The best remedy for not having a good sense of your own work is to specifically forecast how you'll think people will react. If you have a fairly consistent stable of friends to read your stuff it works even better. It's like small scale experimentation. This person likes sci Fi, so maybe they'll like a few high concept details here. This person is a big waifu fag, let's see if they like this banter and if it's titillating for them.
And after you get your initial straight reactions, don't be afraid to probe a little more. Did this scene remind you of anything? Any favorite jokes? You might find yourself surprised by what people like the most, and you'll also find fairly often people have a completely different sense of evocation from something. You might write a scene with light banter and a readerll sense tension in it you didn't intend but that isn't necessarily a flaw.
It may seem vain to pick people's brains this much for reactions, and certainly you don't want to lean too hard on an acquaintance who isn't that interested. But emotional reactions are the only currency writers have. People saying "this made me feel like this" is the main thing you can use to navigate improvement. Sometimes people are competent enough to actually give good directions themselves but in my experience that's actually kinda rare. Very few people are good diagnosers. But everyone can give their emotional take.

It's worth considering whether you might just want to use a time ellipse. Obviously you can't lean on it too much but say for example two characters are having a meal. The most "inartful" cut is just to handwave it with an expository sentence.

This is pretty heavyhandedly terse, but sometimes as a placeholder to let you move onto more fun stuff it gets the job done. Often times later content helps inform earlier content because it allows you to align things in terms of beats, motifs, and escalation.
Otherwise, another quick and dirty trick is just having a few short paragraphs and then a scene break, making sure to use the stress position of the pgh right before the break for either a good joke, a salient description, a character beat or some such.

Oh I guess worth mentioning, slightly softer than an outright scene cut is just a time ellipse. The expository sentence mentioned is one sort of that. Always remember: as a writer you can point the camera however you want. Time is yours to stretch or squish as you please.
That said, keeping track of your word count helps you have a more objective sense of a scene. Sometimes writers stall out on scenes because they realize it's dragging, but they don't know why. In that case, look how many words you're committing to the scene, or even to specific beats in the scene. Scenes sometimes drag because certain beats are darlings but the writer doesn't want to kill them, giving the feeling of a bloated scene that doesn't have the pace the writer wanted. Word count is your way of keeping a pulse.

In my experience difficulty with repetitiveness comes less from limited vocabulary and more from a limited sense of common expression. I have a really hard time with it too. What I mean is that there are conventional ways to "say things" and some people are just really good at remembering them and retrieving them, which means their writing isn't going to be littered with ostentatious verbal tics.
I think, honestly, rather than it being a word bank problem, or even a phrase bank problem, it's a matter of speech processing. I suspect the kinds of writers with clean and orthodox expressive talent are probably people who can mimic speaking patterns easily. I got the 30334 but I talk like a retard because I can't. In fact I have to rewrite sentences over and over because the first thing I write is usually obtuse and kinda stupid.

NTA, but you don't really need a wife. Having Anya as a non-romantic partner, with her and (You) growing closer over the story would be more interesting.
If you wanted to go the wife route, then the choice depends on what sort of dynamic you want between the trio. Anya as a "child" to (You) and the wife would need a more mature chuuba, like Reine, or Mio, whilst Anya as more of an aloof friend could allow for a more happy-go-lucky chuuba, like Subaru, or Fubuki.
Alternatively, you could go for the autism band and just have (You), Moona, and Anya, as a family of emotionally stunted weirdos.
