People often think that you need to follow all the Vtubers since you get called a newfag if you don't know much about them, but that's not the case. You watch the ones you're interested in, talk about the ones you're interested in and in the event you wish to discuss vtubers you don't know much about you do your archive reps to make sure you aren't talking out of your ass about them.

What's going to be delayed? Vshojo's existence as a vtuber group? They've existed for a long while now. Vtubing is a wholly decentralized hobby to begin with - what indies or one group you dislike does will have no influence on another group you do like. AVtubers existing and having a popular niche will not change Hololive's successful business model to make them all masturbate on stream, for example.

if you're a NEET you are probably bad with time management but generally just pick a time when your favourite chuuba streams when you have free time and watch clips for the rest. I'm not a NEET so I don't have the free time to watch streams all day.

What happens in this picture is pretty rare, all /jp/ hobbies are niche, even vtubers are niche, they haven't changed much. There will be more vtubers but Hololive will stay the same for sure I highly doubt the current fanbase will ever change much.
