Dude have you been to America? The food there is damn near inedible due to sugar and salt. Not just America sadly. The UK has an obesity problem too but I ended up giving up soft drinks, then during the summer heatwave I really needed a drink and thought some fruit drink would be nice and refreshing. It almost made me vomit from how sweet it was. I don't know if they have been boiling the frogs and gradually ramping up the sugar content, but it legitimately made me pissed off with my parents when I think about how I had that shit as a child. It's so insanely unhealthy and I could tell just by taste, had to tip that shit out and now I'm pretty much never buying soft drinks ever again.
