I'm fine with the province proposal except for one big thing, nanora.
It doesn't give any explanation as to what the land that isn't occupied by a rep actually becomes since there isn't a lot of information about what other writers would do when they'd want to write about something that is dependent on location. If lunaitos wanted to march to Sakuran for a divine baby ceremony, will it only describe the geography of where they have to march or will it neglect any description of the haachama or noel? In the actual world, what happens to those unrepped nations? I'd be fine with ignoring certain specifics in describing the nation's governments or any specifics of the people but as of now it seems like the province nations have almost just stopped existing.

I recognize this issue, and I think it's probably the most legitimate concern currently with the province system. I'll amend it in the rentry, but essentially until there's a rep present that territory should be treated as uninhabited or tribal wilderness, similar to schizo wasteland but with fewer schizos.

It admittedly will limit writing, and as it currently stands I don't have any real fix to it. I still think this one side effect is still a worthy sacrifice for the good that the province system creates. One potential solve, if your main issue is not having any neighbors to write around, is that the province system lets to adjust or move your borders, however this MIGHT be an issue if you like the climate you currently have.

Whooo boy thats a lot. A great way to start a document. I love how you have integrated the Agnami Caliphate and Zeta into the history.
Having the history there truly makes the nation feel more alive, which is a great feat, and one I would like to attempt to replicate.
Reading this section was quite inspiring, and I think I'll try to come up with some history for the Serene Republic in turn, although I doubt I can create something of similar quality or depth.

I love the fact that you have made a list of kings as well. This sort of worldbuilding I really like, where you hint at a deep and rich history while only showing the reader the very tip of this iceberg, or only the surface of the much deeper story. The reader is left wondering what all the kings were like, what did they do to earn their names, and so on. A fantastic inclusion.

Nothing much to say about this, sounds like a pretty standard feudal monarchy. There is the mention of people beign equal in society but how exactly does this work, and how exactly is this seen in everyday life?
I'd like to know what "Organic" means here. What an "Organic" government or an "Organic" philosophy are is not clear from the rentry, to me at least.

I would amend this slightly; it wouldn't make any sense for the heartland 0f the Holocontinent to be tribal wilderness. I guess the writer should try to extrapolate what sort of country would find itself there, and be unspecific about it. For example, instead of cross noel and haachama, the Lunaitos would crossing some developed holocountries.

I have imagined that they would be quite diverse. I think that the biggest distinction one can make about them is whether they are individual adventurers or company-bound ones.

Individual adventurers are people from all walks of life who seek to "make it". They could be prospectors, miners, scholars, artifact hunters, even individual cartographers and explorers. Considering that /nasfaqg/'s population generally descends or has emigrated from the Holonations, some people might be more inclined to go towards their home regions. I'd think that there are three subtypes of adventurers like that: wanderlust-struck travelers, independent contractors, and aspiring traders.
The wanderlust-struck travelers could be rich or poor, adventuring for the sake of adventure. Writers, scholars, or maybe just regular people for whom their journey became their nature. They probably have some way of sustaining themselves to make the ends meet, and might partake in an occasional odd job. Likely the source of unusual professions at the taverns.
The independent contractors, in contrast, are professionals who travel because it is their job. As mentioned before, cartographers, geologists, researchers, archeologists, natural scientists. They are likely business- and profit-oriented, and are hired either for a single task or permanently. For example, if you were dealing with a jungle region and wanted to evaluate the high-value substances found in wildlife, you might consider going to the /nasfaqg/ main island to hire one or a group of botanists and zoologists. This might be attractive to K.A.G. since their adventurer teams could get expertise outside of their usual circle of knowledge.
Finally, there are the aspiring traders. In order to start trading on the NASFAQ Stock Exchange, one must gather enough money to be admitted - the so-called "starting funds". For some, it comes easier, in the form of inheriting enough (which I'd imagine is somewhat looked down upon, if you haven't worked for it), acting as an individual merchant, or taking over a business and running it successfully. However, some people would seek fortune elsewhere. They are treasure-hunters, artifact-seekers, dealmakers, sometimes with extraordinarily bright futures, and while hiring one is extremely unlikely since if they are both acting alone and trying to earn the "starting funds" for themselves they likely treasure independence more than anything. However, running into one or a team lead by one on adventures might happen. Some of them might be future plutocrats in the making. Epoch has started his career in this way, for example.

Then, you have the company-bound adventurers. They are similar to independent contractors, but they likely send entire teams on their own, so while K.A.G. could hire them they have their squads and philosophy of operations. If K.A.G. were to be interested in cooperating with one of them, me or Nasfaqronie could probably come up with an idea and MO for a custom one. Tripoint has technically two: Remgaph Legacy Mining, who do large-scale exploration and archaeological excavation and the Ka-Ti Institute which mostly supplies individual adventurers and experts or small groups of them.

Can you tell me more about K.A.G. adventurers or direct to a doc that has the information?

I'd suggest to amend it that rather than being equivalent to the hostile schizo wastes, those areas are "largely undefined" in terms of lore - yes, they have villages, farms, towns, even big cities, but you should not define them. So instead of devastated land roamed by hostile barbarians, you get patches of developed and undeveloped land that are as generic as possible. Essentially, say that the writers who'd want to describe travel through those lands would have to write events that could happen anywhere, as not to conflict future lore.

Understood. As of right now I have things very loosely set up. I will have to go archive diving to find the tribal map I made as I do not have it on hand, unless someone happens to have it saved. My thoughts for operations are that the different Sunwalker tribes all come together as a council of elders. This council doesn’t quite dictate everything that happens, but they discuss important matters and suggestions on what to do next. For Tunnelhogs, as they exist in different dome cities, they have an Overseer in charge of each dome. There’s then a council of Overseers that runs the underground side of the nation. I have been tinkering with the concept of a Grand Overseer, who is the supposed direct link to the Lovedaughter (Rosemi) and essentially the pope equivalent. Sort of a democratic theocracy, I believe.

I feel pretty bad about how scarce I've been, and I really don't want to potentially hold anyone up with my absences, made worse by the fact that I have like, nothing concrete written down. Part of the reason for the lateness of this message – in comparison to the one I had my friend post to /nenmen/ itself – is that I really wanted to at least finish the Holy Kingdom lore doc first, but despite having been working on it for weeks at this point it's still not in a state fit to be shown to the public. Province proposal is interesting and I get the desire for it, but I think the biggest issue is the fact that threads are already currently placed may not have a decision in such a matter. This doesn't affect me too much as I've deliberately written in a manner to not have to rely on my current position, but I advocated for the threads placement back when this thread was starting to try and place threads and I tried to get it closer to /vspo/ and eventually have some access to them at some point, but there was still the idea of having continents based on Corpos and such. The thread/Towa is very weirdly intertwined with others that can't be suitably written if others are placed far away in the future. I'll >>32888883 in this paragraph so the author can take note of my statements. Simply put, the lack of existence of others, even inactive, limits possibilities in writing and dynamics. The argument of "dubious lore" can easily be overwritten as one should not write much for others in the first place besides very simple interactions or just stories that aren't necessarily defining the thread, and can easily just be amended to say, "Outdated".

It is strongly worth noting on my statements about /vspo/ that I strongly doubt they'd ever join this project considering what that thread is/acts as, unless I or the other Kenzoku writes about it, and that is not a fair representation to them considering the animosity towards /towa/.

This area facinates be because I don't think we have a sea of this scale on Earth. Its not quite dead sea. But I have to wonder if this gulf-sea-thing is a saltier sea than other waters. Or is there enough flow from the openings between lands to keep the sea fresh?

thank you! i find conlanging to be pretty easy after a certain point of experience, it's like assembling a watch when you know all the pieces by heart. it takes about one night for me to get a conlang going, word order, phonotactics, alphabet, and phonology can all be done in about 8-10 hours. it's grammatical structures, phrases and words that take the bulk of your time, especially considering etymology and euphony which i barely even do for kat nol. this is why i'm willing to create as many languages as i do. if you ever want to make that tonal spy language i would be willing to help, indie continent is untapped territory for me

1. What exactly are your plans for /rose/? I feel like you are amazing at specbio but other things feel lacking. Like I don't understand what our nation really looks like if we went took a tour. It kind of feels lacking because I think we are constricted somewhat because of how things are set.

My plan for the underground nation is a sort of series of tunnels and large dome cities. Not quite sure what to do with the architecture but I did make the nicer areas take more of a gothic tone. Adjustable, if you have ideas. We are restricted somewhat, but I’m sure we can find ways to bend or adjust things. Enfer is fairly well off technology wise, far more advanced in matters relating to tunneling and such.

As it stands, Tunnelhogs are beginning to communicate with the outside world just around 1120 VTE, if I remember right. They hide away mainly because it’s just what they’ve always known. A few here and there might leave, but overall there’s no reason to. Everything a rosebuta needs is right where they are. Sunwalker have simply always existed above ground. We are starting to hash out relations to other nations, but progress has been slow. The reason is that /rose/ has had me as their rep for far longer than any other nijination has had a rep. The lack of relations that should be there is purely a meta issue.

During the initial cataclysm that changed /rose/‘s landscape, some went underground while others stayed above. Sunwalkers absolutely have use as they would be used to the world above and would have ties to the rest of the world for trading and communication. They are the more sociable type, I suppose. Hm, actually I’ll say this. If you wish to, I can give you free rein of the Sunwalkers to tinker with. I’ve had them sort of ignored for a long time now, I think you would be great at giving them the treatment they deserve if you wish to. All I truly have is that basic framework and the concept of tension between Sunwalkers and Tunnelhogs.
