I don't know what stream you're talking about but from the JP branch Yumeoi Kakeru can speak good English. People also mention Kenmochi. IMO Mayuzumi isn't that bad but he basically never speaks English on stream.

Apart from that ID branch livers can all speak English. Some KR boys are able but I don't think any of them are fluent. Sorry if this didn't help.

On a sidenote, what's everyone's opinion on the best boy in VALZ? I have heard that Genzuki is a musical monster with all the work he does for Nijisanji, as well as a solid voice and great pianist, Nagao stands out mainly due to him having the deepest voice I think. Although Kaida is my oshi so I'm biased, he's the guy who stands out for me in both look and voice. Whenever they're singing together I always hear his voice the clearest, like it's the main while the other two provide support/harmonise with him.

Genzuki is very fun. Nagao and his plan to cover Kaida's home in a mountain had me in stitches. I still don't get how he's able to sing as a woman effectively. Pretty crazy. Very cute.
Although I was talking more from VALZ the band angle, rather than just as a Vtuber group. I really like the trio, they have a great sound together, and any subbed video of them seems to show they're pretty close too.

it depends on the setting, but most of them are pretty much BFE/GFE type stuff. I've bought vps for akina, mayu, fuwa, and kanae and they were all good. akina's acting is really rough but it's cute to me so whatever.

I'm not fluent in jp, but voice packs give me good practice with listening and I've translated a few for myself to test my translation skills. knowing what they're saying helps, but tone of voice and how the lines are conveyed are good ways to judge voice acting even with the language barrier.
in akina's case, for example, his charm is that he's a boyish virgin who's just a little bit pathetic, but in a funny and endearing way. for some reason though, he's always given scripts where he's supposed to be this ikemen type guy and you can tell he feels cringe acting like that. it's funny to listen to him trying to be all cool and sexy, but his delivery is stifled because of that unfortunately... I still love all of his voice packs though don't get me wrong!
he had a recent workforce voice pack where he played the role of a butler and it was actually really well done, and he seemed proud of it since he kept promoting it on twitter. good voice acting it hit or miss with certain livers but I think that the cringe aspect makes it cuter. especially in akina's case since he's made to be bullied[/spoilers]

Thanks anon! Kanae is my number one oshi. He's really charismatic and confident, I think he has pretty good sense of humor even though he thinks of himself as not that entertaining. I love how his voice is soothing yet he sounds like a gremlin when he screams (and sometimes laughs).
And then there's his design. I've always liked character designs that lean into androgynous type so he really just hits every part of my taste.

It was actually Genzuki that first made me start searching up Vtubers after I was a compilation of Nijisanji males speaking English. His adorable accent was what caught my attention. i didn't start buying voice packs until late 2020 (i didn't see the point before but that changed very quickly), i would love for some of the ones i missed to be sold again. crossing my fingers.

also i just want to add the visual for white day 2021 was awesome, the artist did an amazing job and gave them very fitting outfits.

IIRC I picked it up during the resale in Jan(?). It was more situational where he was doing a kimodameshi type thing with (You) rather than it being narration based. I enjoyed the story too but maybe the role suited him well kek.

I should keep an eye out for resales for that one! I always make sure to read reviews before buying non-oshi's VPs now, but a recommendation also works too.

It's been a very comfy thread. Introduced me to a lot of great Vtubers. Considering the size of Nijisanji, probably is good to have a separate thread for one large part of them and one of their primary strengths. Been nice to see other anons, along side myself, keeping the threads alive.
