I think the minimap could use some updates, since some of the murals have been abandoned in favour of newer projects. There is a little humu around 4450/ 3325 that is entirely new and complete and the Gura that I'm working on.

It was the color picker with the extra console commands to automate it. Not sure if it was because I set it up on my phone vs a desktop but my IP range was banned. I've never used any other bot.

It's probably because you used it on the center. The center is actively being watched by the admin so you'll eventually get caught by the bot-detection or manual selection.

Yep, leaders from factions can go to the pixelcanvas discord and apply for the whielist for the purposes of art protection. Your faction needs to be represented on the discord, there's a signup process, etc.

Yes. Also, your non-botting IP can be caught in the ban. If you're placing pixels in an area being botted you run the risk of being banned yourself. People in previous threads talked about it.

That's not true, they do get banned. They use proxies, so technically their IPs do get banned, but then just switch IPs to bot again the next day.

Why are you always trying to get people to bot? We've been doing so good cleaning up perm. I don't care that you drew something that didn't get reverted. I've drawn stuff with bots that didn't get reverted too, it doesn't mean the bot I was using was special, it just means I got lucky and wasn't detected.

Second point. They don't get banned at all, if they were there would be some traces of reverted areas, in which i've never seen. I saw it happen with many factions, including the bitcoinfags near center and the mlp, but with redpixel and the diamondfags, i have never saw it happen.

Third point. Because bots are very efficient, a single bot is equivalent to 5~10 manual placers in terms of pixels/day. A lot of the cleanup in perm was made by bots, if you didn't realize. Not everyone have time to sit in front of the computer and place pixels for 3 hours straight.

This is impossible for you to know. Firstly, there hasn't been a revert since the 2nd. Second, reverts aren't necessarily tied to bans. I've had IPs banned without any revert, and I've had work reverted without a ban. Hell, I have work that I botted over a year ago (and fixed) that still gets damaged after reverts to this day.

And? This obsession with botting is why we lost so many people during the past few reverts. If you're concerned about efficiency then the loss of most of our pixelers was a massive drop not only in efficiency but in diversity of art that we could create. Also, I'm not sure if this occurred to you, but lots of us very much enjoy hand-placing pixels. I get no satisfaction from botting anything; it turns the game into a bore. There were many other people here that also enjoyed hand-placing pixels who were convinced to bot and are now banned from this game forever. If you personally want to bot, then bot, but if you're going to try and convince others to do so (why?) at least give them a warning. Ask them if botting is worth never being able to play the game anymore.

It wasn't needed for this case, as >>3488832 states, he's already aware of the risks. Since he showed interest in botting, i simply told the safest option i'm aware of. I suppose I could have worded that better. How about this: Automated reverts and bans don't follow a predictable pattern, and the site admin sometimes manually reverts/bans as well. Automated reverts are occasionally updated to detect new strategies including network obfuscation and the bot software itself. This means that anyone botting is at risk of being banned/reverted. Some new bot software may not be detected today or tomorrow, but that means little when bans result in *every* pixel your IP ever placed (even non-botted) being reverted.
If you need an example go ask /mlp/. Even mentioning botting in their threads get them pissed off. Every revert they seem to lose big chunks of art due to botting that happened sometime in the past. It is simply not a winning long term strategy. Sharing bots is fine, but it should be prefaced with "are you sure you want to do this,here's why etc" rather than "my bot isn't detectable, go for it" as you're giving false confidence to people who don't understand how this shit works.

The 1st gura was made by hikotel0611 but he hasn't done any other holos.
The smol pekos were made by kokoa_m0901 the artist who created the hololive cursors. Sprite sheet attached.
The 2nd gura was made by taninao1988. Sprite sheet in the next post

Pick a reference with a simple pose
What small details are important to you? Fix the "pixel size" accordingly.
At first, use as many colors as you want but don't bother too much with shading. When you get better, you can start working with a limited color palette.

Interest has mostly waned, more so since top left got botted over by (I assume) whitelisted IPs since it hasn't been reverted. There's still a couple people fixing anything that happens bottom right, and stepping on 9-12 minute pixels far away at the "vault", including me.
