The info page isn't very good at explaining exactly how the ebb and flow of the prices works. Obviously it adjusts based on demand, but it doesn't really explain how channel performance is accounted for, or when it's accounted for.

You're not supposed to know exactly how channel performance calculates out to or when, particularly since Youtube API is fucky sometimes. You just need to watch one major event adjustment to get a feel of how fast value drops during a selloff. Think the worst it ever got was Kanata so far which plunged by 800 a tick. But you could also overestimate the plunge if too many people also overestimated it and bought too little and the selloff tapers off. And then there's people who bought really low and can afford to sell below the apparent low of yesterday or something

Not him but just being able to pre-schedule transactions would go a long way to preserving anons' ability to sleep properly.

You'd still have to be able to predict that your transaction would be worth doing, as well as what other anons will do. This is balanced in the potential risk your actions can result in while you're not there to babysit them, while also still being forced to obey the normal rules as if you were there. You can also put a limit on how far in advance you can schedule transactions, like 6 hours.

The other option is for anon to code such a script themselves.

Who gets first dibs though on scheduled transactions? If it's by order of who placed it first, then you'd have the same problem where you'd have to be around at adjustment to place the order for the day. If it's independent of order, how would prices get decided? Who gets boned and who earns? Or does everyone just get the same price, and if so, what price is that? The adjustment price? Then we return to the original market. The post-transaction price? Then you'd get boned and there'd be no meaning. The average?

For ultimate fairness, scheduled transactions would have to work pretty much exactly like live in-person transactions. Like leaving a note for the broker "Hey at X time I want to do Y but I won't be there to do it so please take care of that for me".
Pre-arranged transactions would be exactly like if the player had stayed up all night camping the reset, like what happens now. The only difference is that anon gets to sleep now.

I don't know if it fixes the whole "get up retard" aspect but buy/sell orders.
If I can place an order to sell my Aqua at X value (and keep selling until it reaches Y value) then I don't have to get up for that adjustment. If I can place buy orders to buy Lamy at X value and continue buying until it reaches Y value, that solves that aspect.
Ideally I'd only have to log in to check general trends, change my buy/sell order thresholds (and maybe cancel orders for coins I'm no longer interested in) and maybe occasionally buy/sell something manually.

What happens now in ties? It's not hard for two anons to buy/sell the same coin at the exact moment that the adjustment period turns over. How is such a case determined now?
Theoretically the way it would work is that at the time that the user inputs, the broker just processes the request in queue. So if you say "At 1:04a I want you to buy $AKI," it just puts in an order as if you had manually clicked "Buy" at 1:04a.

Not having the reset time that everyone NEEDS to be around for as the most inconvenient time possible. 1:05 AM is asscrack of dawn for Euros and into Unreasonably Late territory for Burgers. The only people this time works for are Indians, Chinese, Russians, Elevens, and SEAs.
However, I'm riding on the assumption that the specific reset time is one that can't really be avoided, so barring that, a method to work around needing to be physically present for the ever-important reset.
