I doubt anyone at Hololive seriously gives a shit about being more or less popular. Besides that Gura has some great qualities as an entertainer: she can take control of the show, set the right mood, is great at improv and usually manages to gracefully squeeze out of complicated situations. I like all ENs pretty much equally, but whenever I tune in for Gura's stream, even if she sucks at a game harder than I do at life or the game isn't that interesting by itself, I usually "ease in" quite fast and spend hours watching. I'd say she has the most talent as a "streamer" out of EN group.
I like to believe there's no toxic rivalry inside Hololive, but mutual resepct and unity instead.
