This is the truth, at least in the NA. Many women constantly complain about how bad they feel, overexaggerate their illnesses, and even try to use their mental health often as an excuse. The only difference is if you do it as much as some of these Holo girls do at a real job, you get canned. With them being able to set their own schedules and have very litte interference from the managament above them in that regard, they're free to call off any day they feel slightly inconvenienced by their bodies and can make up any level of severity for the fans.
I think Kiara herself doesn't do it more often because she's known fir being the 'reliable one' and people like her 'fighting spirit'. While it may not crush her numbers, she's sure to lose the interest of some if she takes long breaks or lots of days off with no interactions with fans.
