Gura and Mori grabbing the mic and other members contributing in various-non vocal ways would have been miles better.
The mix is also terrible, the inst overwhelms the weaker vocals while Gura's is left shaky.
Either the vocals haven't listened to the song enough or aren't familiar with the lyrics. They visibly struggle on certain rhythms and miss-time some phrases.
Overall Mori has the best performance, but the edges are so rough it lacks replayability. It certainly doesn't live up to it's hype.

This is probably the first hololive song I've actively disliked. There was no need to autotune Gura and Ina's vocals, but they did it anyway (and massively overdid it on Ina's part). Kiara and Mori sound desynced, and the remixer totally mangled the instrumental for what's supposed to be an acoustic campfire-style song.

Ame is pretty universally loved. Which is impressive, since it's not hard to find things to complain about. She just has a natural charm that outweighs her most glaring problems.

Ina gets very few complaints because tribalists don't see her as a threat. Her fans love her, but everyone else kinda forgets she exists.

This. At least 3 of them had never produced vocals for a professional mix, much less a cover collab. This was maybe 6 weeks into the start of their chuuba career and had no experience with how to sing together before that. There are duo collabs (including song covers) which take at least this long from start to finish.
For a group project where half the people don't even have experience and practice, and with less than 2 months to finish the vocals, this is par for the course.

What bothers me about this project is the motivation. Why this song, and how did they decide on doing this? It feels artificial with none of them seeming that excited about the release (except maybe Ame). I can't tell if this was the one song they wanted to do the most, or if they really wanted to do vocals for a song this badly. I would have loved it if they just sang it as a surprise at during a full collab, with maybe an amateur clipfag polishing the audio a bit and calling it a day. They could fumble around for half a hour just to get each other synchronized and the voice levels adjusted, and then just halfass it with the singing quality of a happy birthday song, and I would have wept. And it would frankly be on par with the professionalism they could deliver a cover of fucking Country Roads, while possibly being even more fun for everyone including them.

Pretty bad mixer honestly, all holos seem to have different mixer of their own too, probably they find their own mixer or just get recommendation. I know aqua gone through multiple revision with her mixer on her newest cover.
