My worries was that this could indeed imply more later down the line and be a cause for potential problems in the future, if this would mean that the standing to a third party could decide this. But if it entails, a company that is seen as a legit company even if they may be considered an enemy by the KAG, then that is different. So hoomans, let's discuss /nasa/. You've been pretty adamant that the area where the space station is remains off limits for other nations, and seemed pretty interested in the knowledge we posses even before the whole extinction thing. So, my question is, do you have any plans to lay claim to the station itself? It will lose all its human inhabitants in the summer of 1128(might be 1129, would have to check the timeline) and it's AI would depart it as well around a decade later, arriving to the republic about a year later after a brief stay with the Saplings. After that point, it would be completely abandoned. I wouldn't mind sorting out the details if you are still interested in it.

I do think the Republic would be the most adamant in trying to set up a path to the space station (which presumably would be too damaged to properly recuperate anything of worth), some sort of observatory would make sense.
The bigger thing would be building some sort of monument I think, made from material of the space station.

Actually, that decade is precisely because of that reason. Cass is a pretty productive little thing when she wants to be, so that time was spent trying to fix the station from the damages of the attack. I'll explain more in the story I'll finish over the weekend. But yea, there would actually be some other installations built to facilitate the repairs, mainly a fully functioning automated mine from the crater we landed in. Also a spaceship launch pad to send a certain metal bucket into space...
After that was done however, she would, bored as all hell, leave to the outside world on an adventure.

Depends on how her experience in the republic would go. She might be reserved at first, but could warm up to you, specially if the connection between the two goddesses is shown to her. Hell, might even start fully cooperating depending on the circumstances.

One thing that you need to keep in mind is that she wouldn't be bound by the grand directive, and would be a lot more human than you would expect from an AI. Again, that specifically will be answered this weekend. Might also push her departure date back a bit, since I had an interesting interaction in mind that would depend on it.

I personally am a fan of birds and frogs/toads but any animal would do great. As for livestock, interesting varieties of sheep could be great as a source of special wool. In the short term, it's a bit more like a new market opening up for Risu, so it wouldn't cut into Sabatangan current activities. In the longer term, having a cosmopolitan, industriously-minded city somewhere else on the Ailivian coast of Risu will displace some attention from Sabatangan compared to that development not happening. Silvanus is pretty far from it though, so I think they would be the trade nexus for different regional primary industries.

To give you our reasoning, I did archivereps and found out that the Kronies tried to make a protectorate out of us before Risu. That's our motivation and perhaps we have some older ties as Holobirds and all. When the Risu protectorate was set up, we diplomatically protested against it but it was ignored. I am sure that you could have sent the same which was also ignored. As we see infinity rightfully given the Casus Belli earlier as a threat to us, we are undermining the protectorate from the day we figure out of it, with success that is likely mixed. I assume V7 would inform us of the ironclad preparing to go to demeter so that is when our secret operation can begin.

Yeah afaik /inf/ never detailed the developmental history of their ironclads. Actually for the timeline I might push the actual operation back 2-3 years. Guess the Alivian fleet losing an important and expensive ship could be the reason the clocks yielded. Unless there's a specific reason why it happened before the path was finished.

The Republic might have already started sending some supplies to /mep/ a year or two before it, and the operation is just a (logical and natural) escalation of said support. The detailed reason could be some contacts with VIPs in /mep/ I think. Reine did do a couple collabs with Mumei before. Priests could be the initial link of how the first deal for covert support was made. Like /mep/ started contacting the Republic for support 1 one or two years after /inf/'s declaration.
