I don't know much about Ame outside of the fact she's Gura's "banter buddy" and she appears to be awful at managing optics. She doesn't have the same lightheartedness that Gura has to balance out the mischievous gremlin factor. Between trolls and shitposters that means about half of /vt/ is naturally going to regurgitate negativity in response to her. With the lockdowns mostly over and the interest of casual viewers waning the fanbase is shrinking back to its roots. The "improve yourselves" line didn't really endear her to fat fucks and major autists that hate change in any form. Dramafags latched on to the RUST finale "fuck you go away" and made it more than it really was.

Even ignoring all of that the dynamic within Myth seems to have shifted since the off-collab. Collabs within the gen have been pretty scarce. I'm not sure what to blame for that. Then there was all the Tempus drama and I'm not even going to open that can of worms because it doesn't matter. Point is: Ame needs to work on her image. All of Myth kinda does at this point.

Eventually I landed in KFP, after KFP shilled their oshi so much. and soon kiaras voice grew on me (or she has lowered her pitch) and I appreciate how honest and open she is with kfp. I can see why they obsess over her.
I also love Fauna, but I dont trust her yet. She gives me ame vibes, but shes way sweeter - unlike ame who was a salty gremlin but put on a act she was really sweet inside.
I will wait to love fauna.

Goslings attached themselves to ame pretty fast, I remember the first threads where the meme first started and the anon getting super depressed because she glossed over his schizo aka supa and him and other anons started coping and doing mental gymnastics that she was specifically trying to help that non and help him improve himself.

Ame actually did start doing the "improve yourself" stuff within like the first 3 months of holoEN being a thing. She did a ryan gosling movie watchalong where he played a character obsessed with a doll or something like that. She's been doing that shit since forever. It was easy for anons to ignore her doing this over the years when there was zero male interactions from her, once tempus showed up and she actually talked to them, teamates have gone off the rails.

Personally I think she did nothing wrong. People hold GFE over chuubas heads like, "If you did it once, you're contractually obligated to never talk to a man on stream ever again". Like they can't accept fun little roll play date streams or ASMR are just being fun little streams and see it as a literal signal that she wants to roleplay as your girlfriend in all aspects of her career as the character she's playing on stream. They can't separate the roleplay stream from any other stream the chuuba may do.

You contradicted yourself with this, and more importantly the only reason Myth became popular was because it was idol culture in English. Nobody gives a specific damn about their particular talent or niche unless this basic prerequisite is met. Without being idols, they are nothing. The only reason Myth is still afloat is due to residual glow from that, and the more time passes and disappointment mounts people move on to small corpos and indies who have the skill, discipline and dedication to keep up with the program.
