The difference in ability is astonishing. It's very plan and easy to see.

click filters (top left below the search box), then choose live in features.
click filters again and choose view count in sort by.
voila, now the search results only show live streaming vtubers and are sorted by their view counts.

With indie 2views, just remind yourself that they're mostly doing it as a hobby. A lot of them already have their own loosely-knit social circles and aren't interested in making it "huge", they like to see growth but they don't necessarily wanna be holos.

With small corpo chuubas it's quite a bit tougher. Most of the EN ones aren't very well run to put it simply, and even the ones that have halfway competant management have their issues. In saying that, small corpo chuubas generally really appreciate any support they get in my experience.

In both cases, just be nice. Don't be a dick, don't backseat unless they ask for it, don't leave comments or ask questions that might be awkward or difficult. Get a feel for what the chuuba reacts well to and what they don't react well to. Basic stuff. The only thing I'd add is try to stay the hell away from discord and discord cliques, you've got nothing to gain there except becoming privy to all kinds of stupid fanbase drama.

I'd say the exact opposite. I find Holo streams overall pretty boring because it's pretty obvious that most HoloENs were not hired for their talent as streamers. Once I moved on to 2 and 3view indies I actually found vtubers who I'd consider funny and interesting unlike the borderline normalfags that Holo hires.

I don't even remember her name anymore or any fine details about her outside of her being Indonesian and that first stream I watched. Wherever she is, I hope she's doing fine.
