I liked Rushia fine enough, but I did think she was the weakest as an entertainer and the worst at fun banter in collabs and stuff. Way too quick to resort to old jokes and tired routines. The other sanki girls were and are much quicker on their feet, much more likely to say something interesting when they opened their mouth. She also had the least personal connection with the others, which is really saying something when Pekora is in your gen.

I don't think she was a tumor, but Sanki are probably much stronger on average without her. I realise that sounds like anti talk but I genuinely did think she was okay, like I wouldn't say I actively disliked her or anything, I was just consistently disappointed by how much less witty she was than the others even when she was given all the space and opportunity to shine. But that's not really her fault in many ways, it's tough to compare favourably to the rest of sankisei.

I don't find Flare's solo streams very entertaining but in collabs she's able to engage with whatever is happening and with other people and banter fairly naturally. Like she will actually have something to say when she opens her mouth, some interesting or pertinent observation or something riffing off of what other people are saying. That's where Rushia was often a bit lacking and where Flare can at least pull her own weight.

Rushia's solo content might have been better, I'm totally willing to admit that maybe that was true to some extent. But I rarely watched either of their solo stuff because even if I were to say that Rushia's was better, that doesn't mean either of them met the threshold for being worth watching for me. I like Marine, and I watch Marine's stuff, which means what I care about is whether they can perform when they collab with Marine.

And you know, it wasn't ALL bad with Rushia. There was a 9 hour pokemon collab with Marine early on that was nice and chill and I think Rushia was better there because there wasn't so much pressure to be performing like there was for some reason later on. But later on, for basically the next few years, she was often a real drag in collabs, whereas Flare wasn't. And that's what I actually care about.
