Anyways, here's a little Colab 101 for you.
1. I am assuming that there are no spaces in any fucking filenames involved here. If you have any in the folder that has your models, or in the model name itself, rename it and change_them_to_underscores. Take weird shit like brackets, parenthesis, etc. out of the filename before/after you upload it to Drive too this is why there's no "box" built in for it.
2. Say you have this twappix model. "twappix-[hll15_7th2C_NAIfull].safetensors"
3. It's in a folder called "fuck_this_shit", that folder is in the root of your Drive.
4. Make a "new" code block, it's easy, look at the picture. Don't bother with "Ctrl-M + B" - just hover right above the let's fucking go cell, you'll see that "Code" button I have highlighted.
5. Put this in it.

nothing in colab is "saved" or permanent, it's all ephemeral and disappears when you're done with the session. you only have to download that model once per session. if webui crashes and you need to relaunch it, you don't have to re-download the model. if you "Disconnect and delete runtime" or close the tab and start over with a new session entirely, you do have to re-download the model

yeah, this was why I moved all of the models to Huggingface, even the ones that were already on my own Drive like good_shit and secretsaucemixgahll. it's too fucking slow for anything bigger than a LoRA. wget/curl from HF will rip ass at like 100 MB/s.
this is hardly code, I can't code worth a fuck and a half. just some scripting. giving your CNC machine or lathe proper instructions is 10 times more complicated than what I'm doing, and these "code blocks" can't maim me, kek

Yeah, the hashes changed. Old hashes were, I have no idea what they were, because multiple models could have the same hash. New hashes are just the first ten digits of the SHA256. I showed both new/old in the last screenshot I posted.

Nothing. I didn't actually try AD 0.5, the other retard did. This was on an "old" commit though. I'll try again with an up to date webui. The way it mixes models changed too in certain cases, but not all?, and although I don't think the end results will be any different, other than "old" ones coming out "unpruned" way more often, the hashes might be different. idk. we'll find out

For the upscaling algo, use the ESRGAN Anime one.
The other settings shouldn't have too much of an impact. Based on your image, you probably have a too high denoising strength.

Why are you looking to use less System RAM when its well within the 12GB margins by the look of that picture.
Id be more worried about the GPU RAM spike but thats the end of generation dump to the disk and I have the same ones on my 3090. I spike to over 18GB though. I know that if I go over it goes into shared memory and I see significant slowdowns as its using much slower RAM.

I usually prefer square tiles (where width = height) and a random seed, but other than that I have roughly the same settings. You are somewhat limited with 6GB, if you had more you could try to increase the batch size.
In your case increasing the batch size will probably either crash the process or lead to very slow diffusion. Actually, you might already scratch your VRAM limit, so maybe play around with a smaller tile size, e.g. 1024x1024.
Also, definitely turn off live preview, that thing slows down the diffusion so much in my case.

I also see that you have Latent Couple installed. Latent Couple in your img2img tab should be deactivated for SD Upscale, so use latent couple settings 1:1, 1.0 and 0:0 and turn down the step slider to 0.

Yeah, been using the one in the OP since day 1 I learned how to prompt. Occasional reinstallations of the sd folder itself were annoying but nothing comes close as the current issues of UI randomly breaking and saying "error" while the console STILL works and prompts batches. You likely didn't lose her, unless you saw "^C" in the console before it finished generating the image. She's in the outputs folder that gets created on your Google Drive. Situations like this are why I did that.

How did you lose them? Do you not have images autosave enabled? The only time I lost my generations when google decided to randomly ban one of my burner accounts for the colab. I think it happened because I was running 2 colabs at the same time thank fuck they didn't ban my main account which was the one I used alongside the burner one, I got too cocky I guess. Won't repeat that mistake.

Cant really see a significant difference for me. But idk if its the simplicity of this prompt but I dont think thats how it works.

Just keep it mind for if/when you share them. The single prune from EMA to just FP32 is fine for everyone unless they're stupid enough to continue training on top of a merged model. The drop down to FP16 will/might (I think? I guess it can "upcast" - or that's what the "upcast-sampling" thing is for) lock people out. Be nice to find a clear answer somewhere, but I didn't even understand the EMA shit until I looked at the toolkit repo's very helpful explanation.

I don't use previews because they make it impossible to generate anything, VRAM use skyrockets and I already am pushing what I can do on 8GB.
If AI generation gets significantly better I might just splurge for something more but I live in a poor country, a high end card costs as much as a used car. A good one, not some falling apart piece of shit.
