Kson has chose to interact with and/or feature a bunch of JP indies, and it gave some of them decent boosts. Some of them even made new friends between each other, and collab more often than they have with Kson. It can be done well, if you have some selection process. When some pre-debut pngtuber asked Kson, she instead gave them the advice to debut and build their own identity first.

Hololive largely camp on the total viewership, Holoshit can easily attain 100-200k people to watch them daily, while every single indie combined daily live viewership can only get 2-3% of that.

Not only that but Hololive streamers are largely mediocre and some even lazy.
Hololive is just a brand bonus, you can see that in Kson, Rushia, Triangle... only getting a minuscule faction of their former viewership once they lost their Hololive brand. All Hololivers came from 1k territory view and will eventually return to 1k view.
All I see in Hololive is just a mediocre over-privileged brand blatantly favored by the shills working with Youtube algorithm.
