APEX is a really good game for streaming because it has a good amounts of downtime mixed up with occasional action and it lets streamers talk to the audience or each other it also forces a lot of cooperation with abilities.
PUBG was similar but it's dead now. CoD Warzone probably is also like that but I haven't watched much of it.
Valorant, CSGO and require constant attention when playing since you die so quickly and the only downtime are the short breaks between rounds. Probably same for Siege but I don't watch it.
Overwatch is basically constant chaotic action but it doesn't require quite as much attention.
Also I think team of 5 is a bit too much for a collab,

These CR cup scrims seem to be balanced between the teams skill-wise based on how often they tied in rounds and OTs. Not a total blowout that I was expecting. It also could be the Pros are sandbagging hard to make it entertaining for the streams.

During the scrims, the pros seem to be only restricted to buying deagle. Even on full buy rounds they have money left for AK and only buy deagle. So they are actually sandbagging.

Basically there are parts of the fanbase that really don't want more apex and is trying to poke holes. The concern mainly:
- barely half tournament roster is niji when it's called niji apex party.
- team balance borked. You have ex-pros like alelu, yukio in play when you have a stack of 3 plat-4 tier players like hayama/maimoto/yahsiro
- some niji members stated they wanted to join but didn't an invite (chii blasted @everyone on all places she could think of, but only 18 members volunteered to be leader, so there may be conflicting accounts)

Didn't help thst Chii has a tendency to pick fights with trolls in chat.

Nazuna love! I wish she would get into a leadership position again but I think that's impossible since each tournament is set up to be with other FPS players outside of VSPO.
She does such a good job of keeping track of so many things and keeps her callouts concise and to the point but she is also burnt out on BRs and games with abilities... which every popular FPS game besides CS:GO.

Nazuna got DMG in CSGO. She performs consistently average on the scrims, which is pretty good considering who she's up against.
Beni knows the valo strats, but the scrims show that she just doesn't have the mechanics to stand against really strong players.
Noah's aim is good enough to not make her an absolute shitter. Sometimes she gets 0.5 KD, sometimes it's 1.0. Considering it's her first bomb defusal game, it's pretty good.
Sumire has only attended 2 scrims so far. She messed up in the first game and got positive KD on the second one. Maybe she'll do better or worse against other teams.
Daruma drops 30 frags on valorant matches like it's nothing. On scrims, he's consistently the top fragger.

Besides Nazuna, VSPO's other strong Valo player is.. Toto.. I remember they had a VSPO Valo stream with a poll on Twitter showing that Toto would come out with the best performance(partially attributed to Nazuna's tendency to sandbag).

The peeking and deliberate approach of games like CS:GO and Valorant work because it's an enclosed map with 2 teams and specific objectives + strong positions. The appeal of APEX is you don't die immediately to that 1 rat in all-black hiding on the rafters or ceiling corner.

When a player gets frustrated over a lost shootout in Valo it's likely due to losing despite holding a strong/key position on the map or being unable to push through. In comparison, you can sprint to cover or safety in APEX, but in Valo or CS:GO, you rarely have that luxury and the reasons can be very personal. Poor reaction time covering an incorrect angle(whether it was due to bad comms or spacing out), that hits really hard because the player now must sit out the rest of that round mulling over what went wrong and watch their team possibly be picked apart.

Shit can get brutal.

If the total average damage (from all seasons) of all team members exceeds 1500, then they'll get a character handicap.
In 2 matches out of 5, the team member with the highest average damage only gets to pick from the characters above.

i was radiant in valorant so yeah quite easily, on a good day i can shit on some of weaker pros as well

not so sure about apex, i got to master, but im rather dogshit at close range, my sens is pretty low so i always get btfo when a player gets to utilize his movement, and i especially struggle in indoor and dome fights.
i would probably wreck all chuubas expect for shibuhal at long range flatline/r301 duel, but in other scenarios im not so confident

This must be a fluke from CR but I enjoyed this team roster of chuubas, pros, streamers to showcase Valorant. They were all fun to watch in scrims and I wanted them all to do well in the brackets. I think most of the teams bonded well based on all the crying.
