That's what I hate most about it, people have this false perception of her being 'insanely cracked' simply because she was insane enough to grind Pred at one point years back.

I think Selen just had no idea how to approach Axel, especially how easily he can get into a bad mindset, that in combination with Selen being afraid of doing anything that comes with possible consequences, not wanting to intrude into the igl role ("I won't counter call anymore" even Axel said she shouldn't stop counter calling cause she was right).

Selen is shy and Axel can be unintentionally unapproachable, that's why it seems they've less chemistry going on. I feel Axel is afraid of intruding on Selen who's the best of the team and Selen is afraid of intruding Axel because of roles, his mald and just being afraid to intrude in general.
