I don't normally write bullet point stories but, with the dour mood

Thanks friends. I have to say it's the first time I've made any of my writing public in... 8 years, maybe, it's been quite a while. I wrote mostly short stories for friends & their waifus but nothing as long as this.

Feels nice to have some inspiration and a plethora of ideas to explore again. I wish I could sketch out some of the scenes light-novel style like I used to, but I'm a little rusty at drawing and my setup isn't that great to work with right now.

There's alot involved in scenes and sequences. Location, character motivations and feelings. Are they bloodthirsty, is it a friendly sparring, is it a sneak attack, is it for revenge, perhaps star crossed lovers destined forced to battle? Music covers the spread of emotions, it should be nuanced to the scene.

The thing about smutfics is that it's a skill you can hone pretty quickly if you've done plenty of hand reps to porn of all kinds. You already know what things look like from a visual perspective and then it becomes a question of turning your mind's eye into words. With some practice the things you imagine will become easier to write down. But the only way to get better is to keep doing it.

Ironically I like writing but have a hard time reading because of a vision defect that causes some ADD/Dyslexia-like symptoms so editing for myself is pain.

The actual castle city that Anon runs through or Argomery? I imagined Anon running through the southern most gate that leads through the more higher class homes that exist within the walls themselves rather than the poorer villages that dot the landscape outside. The route he took would be very straight forward up the large main road that heads through the inner town - moving from residential to business before finally arriving at the castle itself. Outside of the castle were meant to be two additional roads, one east and one west, making the roadway into a T shape, with Anon coming from the bottom up the center where he fought Coco. So a T in a large box to represent the stone walls, I guess, with various side streets and the like that weren't really explored due to Anon heading up the most direct path to the dragon. I never gave much thought to it, but that's what I imagined; I'd be very glad to see whatever it is you're making from this information, as scant as it is.

Adding to this because I forgot, I always envisioned the castle itself as something jarringly uncastle-like, looking more like a large government building built into the Northernmost walls. The entire arena Coco was fought in was visualized as white cobbled road with a few trees planted around the outside surrounded by burning debris as Coco was baring down on a building that somewhat resembled this but without the grand staircase heading up, modern windows or glass door. It's kind of hard to describe, but the 'castle' was always sort of weird in my mind - while everything else sort of visually resembled the same sort of anime high fantasy town BS you could normally expect (think Danmachi's city aesthetic and you'd probably get the idea right away), the castle was grounded and out of place, yet no one paid much attention to it.

I'm even more confused about this. I had intended to have the fight not actually take place at the castle, but just outside the final wall before the castle. In my mind, the town consisted of concentric rings of walls, centred around the castle, which separate the areas of the town. The castle didn't directly open into the town, and instead was separated from the upper-class housing by the final wall (shown as the topmost horizontal line in the sketch). During the fight, the castle would be visible, but being behind the wall, would be mostly obscured so I didn't have to put too much effort into designing it for the single level.

I'd say the most important thing is: don't use dialogue solely as a means to reach an event flag in your story. Try to make the conversation evolve naturally. "How would X react if Y says Z?"
Don't be afraid to let the dialogue run longer than what you see as "necessary". Real people never get straight to the point, either.

I think you had a good mix going in the first half of the story during the sex, but afterwards you did accelerate the pace by quite a bit.

It's hard to find a good medium sometimes, the story I'm currently working on now basically has like a page and a half of describing anal fingering and I'm looking to trim some of it down because it can become too much. Same way you could describe too little and rely so much on the reader's imagination that a good old greentext would accomplish the same thing for 1/10th of the effort.

My suggestion is to not worry too much about using the same words/terms while doing your first draft, because otherwise it disrupts your focus from actually writing down your idea to looking up terms, synonyms and what-not, thus breaking your concentration. Leave that for the editing phase, when the basic idea is written down and you can look for different ways of saying the same thing and hide repetitions.
