people misconstrue it as a hateful takedown of idols and idol culture, but anyone who actually took in the narrative would know that is about how the japanese entertainment industry as hell but despite that people who genuinely want to perform do their best to do it despite the circumstances. of course idols who love to perform and see the worst of this hell personally love it.
