From the get-go she said it was largely an experiment and she would gauge whether she would do a second season. I think the "Fin" is just flavor text for the "polka is dead" episode, not necessarily the end of the season.
So far, it seems like it has been pretty successful. Most of the episodes are around 200k-300k views, which is really good for non-live variety content. People have also been vocal about how much they love it and her chemistry with Izutsu, plus they are taking the time to add subs to it now -- so surely this won't be a one-off thing.

Speaking from IRL experience in the medical field in the US, for every one person that is doing their job, there is one person assigned to double check their work. Then after that, there are 2 levels of QA documentation review that occurs. Then you still have to the manager who supervises and approves of the work. And finally you have the billing person who decides how much they think you should pay.

In short we double the cost of the work done at half the expected value. That way each procedure worth twice as much to the patient and everyone wins.

Spoken like someone who has never lived in Japan for any meaningful amount of time and dealt with this shit. Psuedophedrine in amounts typically found in most cold medicine is prohibited in Japan because they consider it an illegal stimulant beyond 10%, and the stuff they give you at the hospital is almost always just regular strength ibuprofen. Other stuff like cough syrup with small amounts of codeine require a prescription. God help you if you have seasonal allergies. Most of the the OTC stuff they sell in pharmacies is snake oil with caffeine in it. It either doesn't work, or requires you to take like 4-5 pills to get the same kind of dosage as you'd get from 2 pills at the hospital. While the healthcare system is great, the medicine side of the house is a bureaucratic nightmare.
