Ive had it happen to me a few times. I am pretty sure something like that could easily happen because the raid function seems kind of unpredictable/buggy. Try to raid with like 4 people but when the raid actually hits it just says 1. I've certainly lost significant portions of my raid like that at least.

in my darkest hour I've come to the conclusion that there's two easy ways to gmi as chuuba:

1. be female
2. be funny

if you are both, it should be pretty simple. considering I'm neither, i will take this as an invitation to shift blame to a made up rule instead of trying to figure out what else to do to garner an audience. in the end my personality is the exact opposite of an entertainer so im not sure what i expected. maybe i thought the bar is lower for a streamer and that's true but the same rules still apply. at the very least i can take solace in the fact that 90% of streamers are also as bland and uninteresting as me

I've watched my drunk vod and I'm not even funny when I'm drunk, it's definitely over and we'll never be back. In the end it just wasn't meant to be. Because of this i lose one of the best ways to get new people on your stream (clips) so it's getting unnecessarily difficult. On top of that I'm very forgettable which is another nail in the coffin. I'll pray the gamble works out for you. I think I'm not menhera anymore, I'm whatever comes after it. I've accepted my role and I'll try to come to terms with playing it.

I was actually considering an even fluffier outfit but it doesn't really fit in with the whole NEET aesthetic... I was thinking a furisode with a marabou stole like you see here because I love love love the aesthetic and they were very beautiful when I saw them in Japan but I think wearing a kimono would strictly tip my character over into either looking straight up like a girl or crossdressing.

If you are close to getting a new emote mention it when you have a good number of people watching. "Oh wow, I only need 2 more subs to get a new emote. I have a retarded question: how imperative is it to make separate accounts for chuuba activity? I mean specifically Discord. I would just have to leave the inactive/irrelevant servers I am in (not sure if that deletes or removes my messages?) but I joined 2 chuuba servers like 2 years ago before I realized I wanted to be one myself and I dunno what to do. I like to compartmentalize (I have separate twitter youtube twitch) but that is because it is either easier to switch between accounts or I only ever use the account for chuuba stuff (in regards to discord). Do I leave the chuuba servers and make a new account? Do I just change my username on Discord and leave the non-chuuba servers? I can change the email and 2FA my account as well.

Deleting your discord account doesn't delete your messages to my knowledge, probably best to make a new account so that if you said anything you wouldn't want your viewers to know on that discord account it's harder to trace back to you, even if you don't think you said anything like that, you might have and just not remember.

That's pretty bad, you're going to want to improve your mic's positioning, get it closer to you, further away from the computer, reduce the gain.
Instead of the noise suppression, use ReaFIR in subtract mode (https://www.reaper.fm/reaplugs/ if you don't have reaper plugins) tick on automatically build noise profile and it will try to subtract the fan noise.

I'll say that even if differing skin colors is a debuff (I don't think it's one personally) then that's definitely less of a factor when your design is non-humanoid to begin with. People don't really expect something like an alien or a goblin to look like a generic white/asian girl.

It reminds me of a Yordle, I think they're called, from League of Legends. I don't feel too strongly about her one way or the other but if you like her, that's what matters the most! One small critique I will make, I think it may look better if the horns are coming entirely out of the hair, on the left at least, there's a patch in front of the horn with no hair where commonly there would be, which makes it kind of look like a bit of a bald spot. I'm not a good character designer or artist though so please take my advice with a grain of salt!

Debuts and debut videos are generally expensive affairs wasted on indies without preexisting market clout. Keep in mind that the term "debut" is necessarily corporate because it refers to a new talent "debut" for their work for an agency or their "debut" appearance on stage. Nobody showed up for Gura's debut because she as Gura. They showed up for her debut because she was part of a huge corporate advertising push for a north american wave of their already popular company. If you think you're walking onto the scene with a brand that already sells and are planning on making the massive investment into both marketing and production to make an indie debut worthwhile with no background catalog of anticipation then I mean, go nuts I guess. the idea is to put up the story as an interactive / multiple choices type of RPG where viewers can actually participate and experience the story together. the regular streams act as "quests" which give the character experience and currency and once enough quests have been completed there would be a new chapter stream every couple months. i think that could be at least a decent middle ground. it would give the base for multiple versions / outfits of the character based on story progression and i could tie it into a lot of other streaming related stuff aswell

The consensus on the server is not to add any new people. i think there unfilled niche of chuubas playing 3rd-5th gen games (and focusing on the games more than zatsudan). most that play older games tend to stop at gamecube and if they go back further it is typically only zelda. you don't even have to be good; i think just trying them and reacting to them in earnest (although enthusiasm would probably help) will take you far. bonus points for loli model design. you don't have to trust me, but i have a pretty good finger on the pulse of the industry
