tl;dr Nyaru is a failed idol, big idol fan, very proactive and full of energy, caring for other people.

Nyaru lore of a failed wannabe-idol is just her, a not a kayfabe, and shapes many parts of her personality.
She's a big big idolfan, apparently was a shutin all her life, skipped school to watch idol concerts and shit, then dedicated herself to try to reach that dream for 10 years (assuming 15 to 25?), but kind of failed, which is understandable if you hear her sing. She however went into managment of hanlded many Texas idol cons.
It's very noticeable how much it affected her. If you know a bit about Kiara story, this is similar but with more failures and no happy ending.

She has confidence issue but is very genki in her overall atttitude, she seems to have abyssal self confidence. She really like supporting other and get a lot from their success.
Nyaru seems very open minded overall, pretty direct, and will not shy away from answering all kind of questions and definitely appreciates literally anything you would throw her way.

While not perfect, Twitch is still the better plateform for streaming.

- no way of uploading pre recorded content in a visible spot
- no community tab

- integrated clip function
- GIFT SUB that is so important especially for indies
- far better chat (chat is an essential part of indies, since interaction is crucial)
- much better mod tools & better emote system
- raids & hosts, very imporant for small indies and creating communities aswell as growing
- built in tools to get people invested, redeem points & hype train
- many plugins for everything you'd need
- superior recommendeds, always recommend vtubers of similar feeling and size who are currently streaming
- more lenient DMCA, it used to be far better but now it's just slightly better, you won't get a strike tho, just parts of your VOD muted
- community/viewers are much more used to streaming etiquette and more dedicated, youtube will give you more normie/casual viewers

Overall, unless you already have a sizeable following to begin with or want to bet on the very very small chance of being picked up by the algorithm, Twitch is just far better of a choice for small indies.
The only reason youtube is brought up is because many people discovered streaming with Hololive vtubers who are on youtube, creating a natural biais.

I have only watched some of the thread favorites in twitch and I don't like the system because it recommends always the same 20-150 viewers vtubers which don't seem to get any extra grow of it.

Youtube recommends channels which are popular at the moment which feeds itself and gives opportunity to grow really fast if you get lucky.

Here is my unbiased opinion: female DMs are very rare, but they excel males for certain games.
Best DMs I ever had for Vampire and other plot heavy narrative games were women. For better or for worse these girls write a LOT of fanfiction and they do manage to stir and twist you from the inside if they want to, plus this was the real GFE before the word even existed.
There is this long /tg/ story about how a female player seduced and then baited a prisoner into trusting her only to kill him afterwards, causing a massive amount of boners in the table that could never go down. Can't find it maybe later I will post it.

Even Artemis, the father of TBA culture, is a terrible example because even he had the connections, money, and headstart to pull it off. Which even then was barely successful.
