Ya'll ever notice that Marine's popularity never wanes? She's always inclining, if slowly, and even if she doesn't stream more than twice a week, her streams always have significant viewership. What does boomer pirate do that other vtubers should be doing?

I think a big part of it is that she never half-asses anything. Everything she does gets her full effort and it really shows in her content and how she presents herself. Her streams feel like an event moreso than some regular stream

Marine caters to a more adult demographic compared to most of her peers. People who watch her are salarymen just coming back from home and want a girl to chat with; a girl who's not a prude and doesn't sound childish and who's ready to tease them. Adults have more money, better attention span and value relationships more than teens and kids. They love her coombaiting, but they also love her as a peer; something that can't be said about the younger members of Hololive.

i can only think of a handful of holopro talents that are older than her, chiefly botan who we know is old as fuck. in terms of the men, ouga is older than marine but younger than botan. rikka himself is actually the oldest person in all of holopro and when i found out his actual identity i kind of lost my mind. middle schooler me had a brain explosion moment.

for me, i dont really care about the age or relationship status of a talent. it all boils down to if they entertain well. marine is top class in that department. great zatsus, constantly improving voice acting, singing and dancing, perfectly toes the line of sexiness but not so much as to come off as complete coomer bait. To me, she, suisei, and azki are some of my favorite female entertainers.

Marine isn't really a streamer, she's a character/entertainer/artist

Compared to Pekora who is on a similar level in popularity, pekora doesn't reach out to a more casusl, normie audience like Marine does and she focuses only on her stream numbers while dropping the other important content like covers and orisongs, so she can't get more subs than Marine
