What would (You)r opinion be on crossovers, but instead of chuubas being placed in an existing setting, iconic characters from those settings get put into a world of chuubas. Like John Wick or Captain Price walking into the Hololive office. Could make for a good shitpost.

You know I realize the intent for reverse corruption would be something like doing acts of kindness and other fluffy things to them but I find the idea of it ostensibly trying to better their lives while still using normal "evil" methods mildly amusing to think about. Same. I usually add the descriptions as the final touch on things. The first draft of Botan and Koyori getting drunk was 80% dialogue. I just find it tedious to add at times but then I remember that people can't actually see what I see when I write.

I tend to minimize my dialogues to only the most very important or character defining bits, because I feel like otherwise they pad out pieces with less meaningful and evocative prose... I'm also an extremely slow writer because I spend way too much time thinking of how to describe stuff, so I guess the drawbacks are significant. Maybe I should try the 80% dialogue thing.

Dialogue is easy because conversations tend to have a logical flow you need to follow and we all have literal decades of experience talking. The rest of writing requires far more concious decision making, which takes time. So yeah, it's definitely easy to fall into the trap of writing way too much fluff dialogue because it feels like you're making more progress than you actually are. I also think 90% of authors, myself included, love the dialogue they write way more than their readers do. Probably because of their emotional attachments to the characters speaking it.
