How do you think indie vtubers feel that hololive talents can DEBUT to more subs and follows then they will ever see?

They accept it as a normal thing seen in every single entertainment industry (or even industry in general) as brands matter.
People typing stuff like "they didn't earn it" and "muh blue dorito" are a special type of sheltered manchild.

Get better and prove themselves to be good enough for Hololive, simple as.
Filian route is also a thing but only the best players gets there by themselves.

Maybe if they were more interesting they wouldn't have failed auditions.

Thats the whole point of the corporation, many of them probably started hoping to join one eventually.

i would say it's a grind they gotta do in the hopes of making it into hololive but 2 years ago council happened. most of the hopefuls settled into smaller corpos or straight up gave up.
hopefully that has changed now though, holoEN wouldn't bag the twins if they weren't scouted, they definitely planned them to debut as a duo. hoping the rest have actual skills to show for.
and also, please, no more b*yf****d havers.

It's not impossible to be a successful indie. Shylily did it with no corporate backing. The problem is that in order to be a big name streamer, virtual or otherwise, you have to be interesting and entertaining, and most aren't.

it's not like Holos are day 1 in the internet entertainment industry when they debut
most of them have worked their asses off just to build the resume to get into Holo
not to mention how hard everyone has worked to get Holo where it is in the first place

Why is Pomu always the face of the Misaligned downtrodden Vtubers?

She is pretty successful no?

>> No.54280948

>Hololive
Insane competition to get in.

>Vshojo
Only hires bigshot friends

>Niji better chance to get in but you will be a slave

No wonder the indie scene and mythic blooms.

I know this is probably bait but unironically as a very small 2view who's also a big hololive fan I don't really compare myself. I do this as a hobby, I know I'm not cut out for hololive because I would hate to be handed a random model and so heavily restricted, and I like grinding to build up my own small fanbase. Meanwhile I also really like hololive and genuinely believe anyone who made it through auditions is deserving of the instant audience.
