i maintain that the streams are only boring if your oshi is shit at the game (constantly dies after 2 seconds) and is too boring to make interesting convo when nothing is happening ingame.
imo it has a good balance between downtime and fights. it's easy to understand even for the dumbest of monkeys, and the individual games don't usually last that long even if you win. therefore it is a good game to stream if you're good at streaming. you may think otherwise but that's my opinion and i have reasons for feeling the way i do.

Can be entertaining only if the streamer is extremely skilled; otherwise yeah it's pretty miserable because you know they are gonna end up stream-sniped constantly and they can't answer it worth a damn.

Relies entirely on the zatsu-power of the streamer because the game itself is worse than watching paint dry. It's basically a giant make-believe tea party. Build a bunch of neat looking stuff and then pretend to play with it because the game isn't complex enough to make it actually work.

Requires a streamer that is both moderately skilled and has the correct mindset for playing the games. If she's incapable of learning boss patterns in a reasonable timeframe, it's gonna be a miserable stream. If she starts whining as soon as she dies it's gonna be a miserable stream. If she can handle both of those then it's an okay zatsu game with the occasional cool boss fight thrown in.

Energy-wise, this is basically the worst parts of Elden Ring played on loop with an added touch of minecraft. As you would expect from a Nintendo open world game, it's made for literal children. So you aren't gonna see much in the way of spectacle. It's all boring all the time so the streamer needs to find ways to make it interesting. In a way, this is a true test of their streaming chops. If they can make these streams good, they can make anything good. But really they should just stream something else that doesn't require so much effort to be enjoyable to watch.

Why does everyone shit on Apex so regularly? I think it's a fun game with a high skill ceiling so you always get to watch your oshi improve. You'll never be the best because there's a lot of cheaters and sweats who spend 16 hours a day on it, but it's lots of fun.

Yes, because all the copyright strikes forced them to practically only play Minecraft for awhile. That sort of constraint forced them to be creative and come up with new story arcs. That kind of constraint doesn’t exist now.

People find Souls games boring? Ouch...I've played through every Souls game on stream since becoming a Vtuber in 2021 and now I do challenge streams such as beating the game with Dance Dance Revolution mats and Guitar Hero guitars. Now I feel a bit self conscious about my game choices but I'd rather play stuff I genuinely enjoy instead of stuff that gets numbers like Genshin Impact or Minecraft.

I think around release times is the best to play souls games but if they are something you love your enthusiasm will shine through and make the playthrough entertaining but ultimately it's your choice.

If you feel confident in your ability to carry your content with your personality, variety seems to be the meta. If you're more confident in your skills at a particular game, playing that game exclusively is the meta.

I think about 3 months into my start as a Vtuber is when I started it and it's been one of my main stays on my channel. Started with just normal runs then I started doing stuff like getting drunk and trying to beat it and then it evolved into my most recent endeavor where I try to beat them all with a Dance Dance Revolution mat. I do play other stuff such as the Metal Gear series, Pikmin series, Final Fantasy series but I have the most fun with my Souls stuff and the stupid challenges I come up with.
