I watched Pinky Pop Hepburn when she started out. None of the others like Kuzuba Ai or Kaguya Luna had ever clicked for me like she did. I really liked her, she was a lot of fun. But it always took forever for her videos to get any kind of translation, and at some point I just kinda stopped watching her, and YouTube in general for a while. I got busy with other stuff.

Fast forward to HoloEN blowing up and leaking into every other fandom, I decide to check out what all the fuss was about. Get sucked into the Holo hole, and shortly after I remember her and wonder, “hey I wonder what Pinky Pop’s up to?”

Uploads were sparse, then I finally see a new post show up in my feed from her one day, and… it’s her retirement. Even though I hadn’t watched her for a long time, it made me really sad.

It wasn't until early 2020 that I got into Vtubers through Hololive, just after Yonkisei debuted.
