Reminder that Kiara is in so much pain she actually took her meds to control it at least a little bit.
And yet she still gave us two amazing streams today.
Shadowverse will probably be mediocre at best but I am already more than impressed with how much of a fighter she has been up until here.

I don't think I could pin down a specific stream or moment as her peak. I think her number of songs (originals or covers) and Holotalk efforts show how important she is to EN. She's not my oshi of choice by any means but I'm having more and more respect for her with all the work she puts into this and I'm starting to believe that she is the most important member of EN in general right now. As in her graduation would most negatively impact the branch (not necessarily get the most attention).

Kiara's peak until now in my eyes was the A-Chan HoloTalk. This is something uniquely Kiara.
HoloTalk overall is something only she could do this well not only because of her language skills but also because of her people skills.
Only Kiara would have the guts to ask for A-Chan to be on the show.
And only Kiara would be able to control tangents so well we get some really interesting behind-the-scenes stories out of A-Chan.

It really is a shame that they haven't collab-ed sooner.
They had amazing chemistry on both Holotalk and meme-review. And they seem to really like each other.
Imagine all the shit those two would have gotten up to if they would have had more time together.
I feel like both are the driving force in any collab they do. Often throwing a curveball to their collab partner, which keeps things interesting even if their partner has absolutely no idea how to respond to what they're saying.
Either of them having someone to match their chaotic energy is great and that someone being the other of the two is like a match made in heaven

1 on 1 Kiara always works well even with her genmates. Mori is probably her worst fit since she is pretty controlling and tries to compete with Kiara without having any tools necessary to do so. And even then Kiara makes it bearable most of the time.
TakoTori is always great, even their lame first tier list collab had some nice banter. A shame it's so rare.
SameTori switches between being cute and wholesome and being chaotic as fuck.
And even AmeTori works if Ame isn't locking up something that happened less in their most recent collabs.

It's only in bigger collabs that things get dicey.
Ina just doesn't like to talk much and I can respect that. It's her style and many love her for it.
Sadly the other three simply can't deal with bigger crowds, as seen with mumbling mess Mori and cAMEra in the festival collab (I'm proud of Gura, though).
Since Kiara has a very JP mindset she wants them to actually be entertainers and since the other four just aren't pulling their weight she has to do all the heavy lifting which can seem overbearing.
Honestly, I can not imagine what a mess EN would be without Kiara, all full collabs would probably be like InAme A Hat in Time where no one talks for 80% of the time...

I think Kiara is fairly happy where she is, despite her love for Japan much of her early years were drenched in US culture (as is common for people from the EU).
And she said on stream that she doesn't want to actually live in Japan anymore so she is probably done being a second class citizen. She is a bit isolated in EN but in JP she would stick out a lot more I feel.

But that's how she always is. The other ENs are just really bad at dealing with that.
After months and months they now are decent at finding a middle group for two man collabs with her but with their shyness debuff larger collabs still make the other ENs awkward around Kiara (or the JPs and IDs but people don't notice it that much with them).

Even in the tournament Mori was by far the shyest and meekest of the panel - despite being friends with both Kiara and Gigguk.
Although I don't want to shit on your oshi too much. She is putting herself out there and some set-backs aside she is getting better at collabs.
I just wish she would get better faster since my oshi really could use a collab partner who is just "good" without any strings attached.

I have to agree. She isn't nearly as comfortable in calling attention to herself as Kiara is but she does know how to keep her /u/ following happy.
Same with the festival and getting into Kiara's boat or giving her flowers.
It's the reason I haven't completely giving up on TakaMori. If Mori gets a bit more confident it could become something decent.
Although it will always stay a 100% corporate ship with no THEY ARE tension because they live too far apart. But it can still be fun on screen.

To add on to this, as someone who's been the object of concern for a lot of people for reasons beyond my control, the way that certain types of people react to this situation is to throw the concerned people a bone by letting them think that they're helping. There's sort of a "I don't want the people who care about me to think there's nothing they can do" aspect to it. Maybe that's not what she's doing, but I could easily see it.

Speaking as a central yuro (ACs have been already common in southern europe for a long time), it was just never really necessary in the past, as we didn't get massive heatwaves so regularly as they seem to become common now, also our constructions tend to be of thicker and more solid stone/concrete than the typical american cardboard houses.

Though AC is becoming more standard here nowadays, at least for new buildings. I've seen it on most single-unit homes constructed in the last decade.

whats really sad is that it's trivial for air conditioners (which are basically just heat pumps) to work in both directions. Europe could benefit massively from just using air conditioners in reverse for most of the year for heating, and on the few days where you'd want it to cool the air let it do just that. Like I said, at least here (Germany), it's becoming more and more standard to see AC's at least in recently constructed homes. Like you said, the energy efficiency also plays a role, what with the ever stricter eco-conscious building codes requiring some form of home climate control, or at least heavily subsidizing it.
Though I'm generally not a fan of such schemes because they make building even more expensive than it already is, but for the few weeks of the year where I'm sitting in my uninsulated old apartment sweating my balls off, I'm kinda jealous.
