Basically, indie western "vtubers" as a whole are in fact just ripoffs of a fundamentally Japanese thing/concept. This board is under the Japanese Culture section for a reason.

The way that NND streamers and indie vtubers there work is just generally fundamentally different from the twitch atmosphere/meta of stupid loud 12 year olds looking to get boners off of ethots wearing low cut tanktops. Anon, I said I don't agree with people making up genders willy nilly to replace their personality.
I'm saying that because there are intersex people that by definition of intersex, they are a 3rd gender who often present as one or the other because of societal pressures, which makes gender society enforced system.
