Dai-senpai may not make the biggest bucks or have the greatest numbers, but she's still the example to follow in oh-so-many ways.

That sounds good on paper, but her streaming frequency was never that high to begin with. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Sora is literally the perfect chuuba for being the daisenpai, it's like a shoto in a fighting game, she isn't the best in anything but every aspect of her is above average and she never gets in yabs and accepts everyone

I mean most streamers don't take breaks, because of what Sora said they will get forgotten if they go away for too long, hololive dosent have this problem though so she should take more breaks.

This has nothing to do with Gura. The top JPs (Marine, Pekora, Suisei, Miko, Aqua, and Subaru) have all taken at least month long breaks before due to sickness, depression or overwork. This is a testament to Sora’s good health, work ethic, and mental fortitude.

I think living with your parents help you out a lot as a streamer. Aqua used to be a monster-tier streamer, but ever since she moved out she lost her drive due to real life.

>> No.58144664

>>58131799
she isn't a monster streamer streaming for long hours everyday but she legit enjoy streaming as a way to interact with her fans and treat them as relax time and her real job are more of the idol side of things, that's why despite doing multiple recording for albums and cover songs, solo lives and appearing in multiple events she still can streaming almost everyday

I'm gonna be honest. I've never understood why people find this stuff so offensive. Even at their absolute worst the girls don't seem to be dealing with 12 hour days with unpaid overtime.

I live in the west and I used to do 50 hour work weeks and it wasn't even that bad since it was just office stuff where I'd take it easy and browse the internet during slow hours. That's not considering commute and preparation. Even most of the girls seem to think the workload is usually pretty reasonable and a lot of it is just streaming from home.

If she was standing behind a register or sitting at a desk punching code for 10 hours a day I'd agree with you, but this is not equivalent. The cogs are the people working under her, doing the grunt work that allows her to do things most people will only ever dream about. Personally I'd probably still take a week off here and there in her position, but if she enjoys what she does and isnt stressed or being worked to the bone, there's no reason she needs to take off long stretches of time outside of having something she wants to do even more that this.

It doesn't surprise me that Americans on the Internet always cry about this because most have never worked a single day in their lives and take offense at it being implied they are lesser people for it. But what I've never understood is why they think this is anyway unique to Japan, this is just normal. Especially so in the case of someone like Sora who is basically her own business. Her existence is the work, what does a break even really mean in that context? Cutting off all communication with others and avoiding everyday activies?
