I was poor growing up, and she while not rich, wasn't destitute. She and her sisters had a total of 3 consoles, me and my brother shared one for our childhood well into me getting into college. They had a limited selection of games and were mostly Nintendo fans, as you can see from what she says. So less she just sucks at games, since she was getting top of the board for L4D amongst Advent, but that shooters (or rather fpses) aren't really what she is interested in.

So to recap, she likes retro style rpgs, she likes modern rpgs because she has played later Personas and said she wanted to do a rendition of Aria of the Soul iirc, she likes various Nintendo first party titles, we know she is addict to BG3 buuuuut is not so much into buildcrafting because it requires a lot of prep and reading out details. Which gets to the last point, she likes learning on the go, so mechanics heavy games are probably a no go unless she can easily make builds without needing to read over a lot of stuff. She knows she is contradictory, because the huge dork inside her wants to geek out at DnD for lore but ain't like the player who runs spreadsheets on how to metagame. Plus she has performance anxiety, that about cover it? Main thing is she likes geeky stuff, and is quite the dork, but her own proclivities keep her from truly geeking out. Which may change with being in Hololive. I find it so funny Marine, Fauna, and Kiara are her oshis. She on the cusp of being supremely based, but something holds her back and I don't know what. Though I wish she took more of Marine and Fauna than Kiara-isms, sorry any past or former KFP in the thread.
