Not a kindred but a regular of the thread. I do think that if people are going to want expanded and dedicated lore for the personalities hired by Nijisanji; these very same fans are going to have to come to terms with the themes explored. Not everyone is going to be a milquetoast "I have powers of the moon" tier bullshit. Some like Fuu, Vox and even to a lesser extent Sonny (since he is a cop) have explored ideas that aren't outright pleasant. Things will be intense, miserable, morbid and sometimes horny. Support the creativity.

I'm saying this as a non kindred who is an enjoyer of lore, I think Vox has great ideas and an interesting story but the way he tells them never really captured my attention. The concept is good but the execution is mid at best, his emotional variety (?) is lacking right now it's mostly mopey and sad with occasional boughts of anger. It's not personally enjoyable for me.
Although I do have to acknowledge that what he is doing is way above and beyond the usual vtuber merrywether lore slop.

I can understand that. He said before in a post-nut Runescape stream that he doesn't write his ideas down and rehearse them that much. He jots down a few points on a sticky note and improvises from there. I find that pretty amazing in the way that he keeps up with his lore points so well without jotting anything down. I do think he could stand to rehearse a bit more. Also IDK if anyone ever pointed this out or noticed, but in the Truth stream when he had the camera on his abs I heard a tiny "Oh....shit...oh well" before it cut to his face. I don't know if that was intentional in a way like "oh shit, I guess people see what I really am now" or he meant to do something else before revealing the model. He's very good at speaking and improv and he has improved a lot over the course of these two years, but he could still use some work I agree. He's good at doing angry emotions (no surprise there), but could use some work when it comes to crying still *flashbacks to the Knight ASMR 2*.

In a way, Vox has SORT OF enabled this. He's acted very proud in a rather self-centered way about doing what he wants and not really thinking about how his fans feel. I don't mean this in a way like he should always be a pushover like he was, but I mean acting like he's so powerful and strong and Independent Woman Who Don't Need No Man has enabled the yes-man behavior in a lot of Kindred. That behavior then triggers the thought that any disagreement, even respectful, is seen as controlling or wanting him to conform to a certain way when it's really just feedback. My words probably aren't coming across all that well but basically one action of his will lead to the fans feeling and behaving a certain way as a response and so on.

my rationale is that I'm connecting those behavior to his trigger

Watching him with those facts in mind makes his character (depressed, mopey, and having bursts of anger) feels pretty reasonable.
