Humans understand the intrinsic value these types of things have. Real humans, that is, understand they themselves are the start and end of the world and exist for their own enjoyment. They come together to sing national anthems, or watch the game, or see and hear the Greats perform. No one is tricking them. They understand that everyone is playing along and agreed to be there.

A human being makes reality. Not the other way around.

OP forgot to tell you that what constitutes "reality" these days isn't much different. There are 2-3 personality types out there, and they were all conceived through an electronic device. Their aesthetic, their vocabulary, their philosophy, all are replicas of something they witnessed online or on television.
