I don't want this to sound negative, but I think Wawa and Ina have an inherently competitive relationship in Mori's mind. They will always be close friends and she definitely treasures them, but recognizes her own weaknesses in their strengths and uses that to try and better herself. Compared with Clock-kun, Rrat, and YabaiRys who she instead gets lots of internal joy just by watching them grow and get stronger.

It's like having siblings who are only a year apart versus siblings who you had to change the diapers on. You never feel threatened because the young ones got an A in Math, but man if your older sibling has that A but you only got a B it's crushing.

She definitely has the type of personality that sees a range of possibilities but demanding herself to only high the high part of that range, while also expecting to end up on the bottom.

I think that has more to do with the fact that YT livestreaming was almost exclusively corporate conferences and events, then got monopolized by vtubers where membership content models and high volume superchats were ingrained in the culture, versus Twitch with its emphasis on independent content creation where practices like that could be considered grubby when it already has as much monetization built into it with its different point systems, subscription models, and donations.
