Is there any news whether Flare will join in? 4 People is probably the sweetest amount for a terraria multiplayer run so they can split the item by class. It would also speed up most of the prep time they'd do between bosses.

Honestly her dedication at times never fails to impress me over the years.
I couldn't imagine using the Snowball Cannon for 12 hours straight in any Terraria run, even my slower relaxed ones.
Just hope they don't burn themselves out on this, I'd like to see her reaction to the late game bosses and gear. Massive respect for doing Expert too for their first time playing.

It was horrendous but essential. We almost had a 12 stream of peko trying to figure out half of terrarias content is underground, or perhaps 12 hours of her trying to figure out how rope works. I'm still an autistic mess over how long she used the fucking cactus sword, and how long it took her to make a better pickaxe. 9/10, absolute emotional rollercoaster.

It's not too hard when you've familiarized yourself with the mechanics. Expert mode does pad out the damage but it's still forgiving enough unlike Master mode where everything oneshots you.

Most of the challenge yesterday was just them figuring out what to do next, their first real difficulty spike is probably going to be skeletron and the hardmode later if they even get that far.

It's a good game, I have 350 hours in it. It has a lot more content than it looks like, like 30 bosses and that's before you try modded. Keep in mind you might want to keep the wiki open because half the mechanics are never really explained in game, including basic things like housing, destroying hearts / shadow orbs, how cosmetic slots work, piggy banks, planting seeds, etc. However I would recommend not looking up optimal builds and progression checklists, that stuff removes the joy of exploring.

Heart statue is better than nothing but 1HP/s really isn't that great when bosses are smacking you around for 30-50 damage. Bast statue would be good as that +5 defense goes a lot further, especially in expert mode where defense matters a lot more

They don't, but their summons do. I think the space gun was one-shotting the bees anyway so it doesn't matter. Space Gun/Meteor Armor is probably some of the best DPS for where they're at rn. They need to up their alchemy game and make actual buffs like regen and ironskin

Queen takes damage, it's just really hard to hit her. You can parry her early charges with the Chu Chu shield, but the last ones happen so fast and are so many that you should probably focus on dodging and hitting melee to at least trade if she hits you.

Mushroom island? Stumbling upon a fortress without using eyes? Idk, but there's only one Aether biome per terraria world, and it's kinda hard to find since it's spawn condition is just "somewhere underground, outer 1/3 of the world". It does some special shit if you throw items in the liquid. Most of it is progression locked but they'll be needing it later
