Don't use his Premiere link, it's a miner

Choose a clip you want to edit
Cut it up into at least three parts in your head
Choose a focus for each part, (For vtubers usually it'll gameplay, dialogue, or model reaction)
Cut up each part into a set of 2 3's
Essentially take the specific moment and cut it in half.
Once you do that choose a focus for 2/3rds of that half of the moment, and cut to a different one for 1/3 (Usually a focus on the model)

You want to keep moving and changing focus every 4-5 seconds, even if only for a split second.
Shorts/clips are a different beast than streams. You need to fight against the subway surfers and family guy clips that will be stealing views like fucking blackholes.

Here's an example of what you should be trying to do

Notice how even though the scene never changes, the clipper still manages to frame things differently, making it feel faster paced and choreographed? That's what you want to emulate. It's easier if you also have gameplay to use, but since clips that focus on conversation tend to do better I thought this would be a more valuable example.

Yeah the edit button doesn't actually reload the page before giving you the text so every time someone did it it sent them their local version and overwrote the server one since it doesn't check at what point the edit was made.
